it was sold out at the Gamestop where i live (Turku, Finland). that was very surprising because there's ALWAYS copies of games available on launch, there's usually no reason to preorder. i saw plenty of Gears 2 on the shelves when it released, same with MGS4 and LBP..
and most of the people online on my friendslist are playing it.
most likely it has sold pretty well overall, not 5 million but still good. it will easily outsell LBP i think, maybe reaching 3-4 million ...
i'd say you are on the right track. keep your 360 for Alan Wake and whatever, but DEFINITELY get a ps3 too, if just for LBP. that game is remarkable, and no gamer should miss it.
oh and i'm not downplaying KZ2, i'm loving it too at the moment.. really effin addicting, just unlocked the engineer and now i can put up turrets all over the place! and they dont even disappear if i die. totally awesome.

uhh there is a playable demo of RE5, and it looks really good.
i realized only just a couple days ago that KZ2 is out here already on the 25th, that means i really got to hurry up finishing Fallout 3 now! i think it will be really hard to go back to any game after tasting the multiplayer in KZ2...
honestly, that looked stunning. i was telling myself "meh, it's all just CGI", but then they said it was mostly in-game footage... damn. color me impressed.
and people say Japanese devs cant keep up with their Western counterparts graphically... (MGS4 already proved them wrong, but i'm glad Capcom is not falling behind either with this and RE5 etc)

his upcoming game is probably the reason why i chose the PS3 to be my #1 console this gen. or wait, was it two games? i've read somewhere that Team Ico are making two games at the moment, the other possibly a PSN downloadable title? i'm not 100% sure though.
custom soundtracks for the win for this game, gets SO TRIPPY when i play some ambient/experimental music on the background. also the Youtube upload feature is awesome.
though im kinda frustrated at the moment with my Boy, i shrunk his head and butt somehow and now i dont know how to get them to normal size, my mouth is too small to eat any larger objects :(
oh come on, CLIPPING? there's clipping in every f*cking 3D game ever made! and it's not really noticeable even, unless you go looking for it, like you did.
the game looks (and feels) incredible, there's no way you can deny it... unless you've only been playing Crysis on a really expensive computer.
