if you want some really funny and at least somewhat intelligent stand up comedy, go for Bill Hicks, Mitch Hedberg, George Carlin etc.
all i can say is that Twisted Metal 1 & 2 were some of the most amazing games i ever played, and both averaged like 6-7/10 in reviews. back then reviews didn't mean sh*t. we played what we wanted to play (me and my friends). ohh how i long for those days...
i can't wait for a PS3 version. however reading what Jaffe had said on Neogaf, i'm not very hopeful at the moment...
50 cent isn't that despicable, i dont think he deserves all the hate.

MGS2 ending disturbed the crap out of me, i will never forget it.
last gen the vast majority of my beloved games were Japanese made (FF, MGS, RE, Silent Hill series, Dragon Quest, Ico/SotC etc)
now most of my favorite games are Western made. (Fallout 3, COD4, Wipeout HD, LBP, Dead Space etc)
dunno if it's a bad thing or not, but i would gladly have more Japanese games to love than just MGS4. oh sh*t, that reminds me, i need to go get Noby Noby Boy!

i'm such a pessimist i'm almost inclined to believe all this information was made up by someone who wanted to hurt Sony's image, by promising stuff like this in their name and then of course when Sony does not deliver an in-game web browser etc, everyone will be disappointed and Sony have "once again" failed and misled gamers.

i used pretty simple logic.
to be honest, when i get this game, i will care even less about Home no matter what content there is. (if it's even possible, as i have only logged on once this year, and that was by accident trying to login to the Store)
killer games > home (by an unimaginably large margin)
i was actually not that impressed by this game playing the first level, it was exactly as i expected it to be...
...but after playing two more levels with headphones on, i can't help but love the game. literally breathtaking at some moments. and apparently the best is yet to come for me, people say the latter levels are the best. i can't wait.

i'm European (Finnish) and i PREFER to play with Americans on PSN. most have been really cool and nice people. even the young ones. i even played Skate 2 with some guy who said he was at an army military base, while i dont 100% approve of America's wars (there are grey areas though and it's complex so who am i to judge), i couldnt help but just like the guy, and just talked crap with him for like 3-4 hours.

i was actually really impressed by the camera angles in the demo. no surprise to me that they used some sort of special techniques.
switch positions? as in sell pretty much the same, like last year? that would be a shocking twist indeed.
love it or hate it, both consoles will live till the end of the generation, and will most likely be pretty even in install base. just face it and swallow your pride, your favorite console will NOT crush the competition. (unless it's the Wii :P)
