On topic: this is definetly the type of game that will appeal to the casual consumer. I am actually considering buying this game and Kinect for my family. I have 4 boys ages 10 and under. So we would be the ideal demographic Microsoft is trying to market Kinect for.
But then again the PC community pirates worse than on any of the consoles so I cant blame them.
Try harder. Gears of War series would easily be top 5 graphics of this generation on either HD console. The fact that certain Sony faithful are discrediting this game just shows how jealous and insecure they feel about the game.
Anyways on topic I am looking forward to this game. The 4 player co-op will be EPIC. Pun intended.

I'm sure there is a significant percentage of PS3 owners who either don't have broadband internet, just use their PS3 as a Blu-Ray player, or don't care to play online.
I have 2 PSN user accounts myself. Although one of them isn't really active. I also have 2 XBL accounts and one of them isn't active either.
These numbers are misleading period.
If you don't like Kinect or the 360 then why bother commenting? It won't change anything. If you want to see the 360 and Kinect fail so hard try spending more of your time and money buying PS3 products instead of pissing and moaning in here.
Seeing as how I own all 3 console this generation I dont have to worry about hating. I can enjoy the games, online services, motion controls all 3 have to offer. Be a gamer not a hater.
I have a 20GB 360 Pro with HDMI that I bought in September 2006 when Halo 3 launched. The HDD isnt big enough any more and it got RROD in October 2008. It still has some warranty left after the repair but I thought about trading it in along with a controller for the new 360 S. Was just wondering if they had upgraded the HDMI port or not.
I was at Fryes Electronics today and saw a Samsung LED 7000 series TV on display. It was only showing the Monsters vs Aliens movie in 3D, but it looked good. As a result I am going to go to the Sony Style store where I live this weekend to see if they have a PS3 setup to demo 3D games.

Heck, have the internet. I'm a real gamer who owns all 3 consoles. Has no allegiances or loyalties to any 1 console brand. Been that way since my Atari 2600. I own 2 PS3's, 1 360, and 1 Wii currently. I like to play games. No need to pound my chest over who has the best exclusives, who sold the most games, who sold the most consoles, which game got the best review scores, etc...

Shipped is sold. If these consoles are shipped from the manufacuring plants to a retailer then they count as sold to Sony, Microsoft, or Nintendo's bottom line.
All 3 console manufacturers do this. It's a common practice. None of them are better than the other. Please everyone stop spinning and complaining. 1 million PS3's sold in 3 weeks is impressive any way you slice it.
I was one of those 1 million purchasers of the Slim. I got mine early at a local Gamestop. 1 million in 3 weeks is impressive. But I cant think anybody really believes Sony will sell 1 million PS3's a month.
It's called a sales spike. The PS3 had been priced at $399.00-$499.00 for almost the past 2 years.
Instead of fueling the fanboy war why not just offer congratulations to Sony for reaching an attractive price point?

That's what I mean. The SDF are the absolute worse. It's some sort of insecurity that possesses them to behave the way they do. I will readily admit I prefer my 360 to my PS3. But I spent more money in the past 18 months on my PS3 than I did my 360. Plus I just recently bought my second PS3 when the SLIM came out so I could use my original PS3 40GB as a Blu-Ray player for the bedroom. I can see the value in owning both consoles.

Insecure much? Try owning both consoles. It will make you sleep much better at night knowing you have access to both the PS3 and 360's games.
Any "real" gamer sees the value in this bundle. For $100.00 more you get twice the HDD capacity, a second controller, and the MW2 game vs the regular Elite price. Priced seperately your saving at least $100.00 just by doubling the HDD capacity. Especially with the way Microsoft charges for it's accessories.

On topic: Almost half a million consoles sold for the month of September is solid. Especially considering that September is a slow month for videogame sales.
