The negative comments are from the typical Sony trolls on N4G that HATE on Kinect. The same ones that said Kinect was a gimmick that would never sell, that the 360 has no games, that Kinect is an eye toy rip off, etc...

They are alive in the fact that third party games are the bulk of software sales on both the 360 and PS3. Therefore the 360 has plenty of games as their industry leading attach rate shows.

The only people who think the 360 is dead are the Sony loyalists on websites such as N4G. Sales of 360 hardware, accessories, online service, and games say otherwise. Especially considering the 360 just had it's biggest year ever for hardware sales during the calendar year of 2011.

I have a 360 and PS3. I find that my 360 gives me more value at the moment. It's my opinion. Difference is I don't go around preaching my opinion as though it is a fact or putting other people down for their choice.

This is what I have been saying for awhile. The Vita is nice hardware. Nobody is questioning that. It's the games that will hold it back. They are catering to their "core". We all know their "core" will buy the Vita no matter what games their are. It's the other gamers that they want to sell the Vita to that will go out and buy the 3DS or play games on their mobile phones and tablets instead.

I have to disagree. From the moment the NGP was rumored till it was finally announced as the PS Vita this website has been filled with people saying how much the 3DS sucked and how the PS Vita would destroy it in sales.

That is a good question. It goes the same way for the PS3 also. I had my original 60GB BC PS3 Fat get YLOD. So I bought the 120GB Slim for $299.00 because I didn't want to pay to get it fixed and not have a warranty.
My Slim 120GB PS3 got YLOD twice during the first year I owned it. It was fixed twice under the 1 year warranty. But since the second repair it has worked like a champ.

I sold my launch 360 to my buddy and it still works for him to this day. I bought a second 360 in Sept 2007 for Halo 3. It survived 4 years. Including 1 RROD. I finally replaced it last year because the DVD drive died.
I think the amount of 360's that have died and got thrown away, sold, or traded in is exaggerated.

It was a number of factors. The price drop. Familiar games that released during the holiday season. A HUGE amount of sales during the holiday season and better marketing.
The Vita is a beast of a machine. But I think Sony is still missing the boat here. They need more games that appeal to people outside of their "core" users. They need a price point that is more attractive to people outside of their "core" users.

Actually I am at work today. Guarding an estate. So I had a 12 hour shift to kill. So I am guilty as charged for being on N4G a lot today reading. I am waiting for the PS Vita to drop to $200.00 and the memory card prices to come down before I play beyond.
I did the same thing last generation. I bought 3 PSP bundles for $200.00 a piece for each of my kids. The console was $169.00 but I could not turn down the game and memory card for $30.00 more.

For years the Sony faithful on N4G said VGCHARTZ numbers were false. Claiming they purposefully under tracked Sony and over tracked Microsoft. Now since VGCHARTZ numbers favor Sony believe they are accurate???
Sorry. The shipped numbers in the quarterly statements for both companies in calendar year 2011 showed VGCHARTZ to be completely unreliable.
