Naughty Dog should make a game that's a spiritual successor to both The Last Of Us and Uncharted that's a bit like Waterworld, where nearly all of the game is surrounded in water.

Otherwise I know what the score is - I'm paying for the privilege of certain exclusives on the console for the first few years of the generation. But that's not compelling sounding enough to make the XboxOne seem like the great buy that the PS3 eventually became.
The only reason it would deserve any hate is on the grounds of if it was shown it on a high performance PC rather than on an XboxOne. But I'm not sure that's the case.

A good post. Sadly, there are always some people who automatically decide to give anything with dictionary definitions in it a thumbs down.
And Puppeteer. There's rarely such a good last year in any console life.
I bet the mainstream media would spin this as an admirable thing. And yet you'll rarely see, except with a note of slight condescension or caution, a mainstream report on young people who play videogames.
There is plenty of precedent to have concerns about the hardware quality though.
Microsoft later sent buyers of the original Xbox, including myself, a power button because otherwise it was identified that the console could catch fire after so long. Every time I put the power cable in the Xbox it crackled with electricity- that's not a healthy sound.

Sony could really do with Jet Set Radio Future 2. They just probably don't know it. I suppose they'd think that Infamous and Mirrors Edge are close enough types of games. But the XboxOne has Sunset Overdrive and Sony could do with a fun game like Jet Set to counter it.
I'd like to see Ryse, Killer Instinct, Sunset Overdrive, and Quantum Break on PS4. But they're all extremely unlikely to ever become multi-platform. And they wouldn't even necessarily look or play any better because those games have been designed to suit the XboxOne.
Unless I get an Xbox One because then I'd want my purchase to be justified by the exclusives.

Yes, the same thing could be said about people jumping on the Xbox360. I personally didn't jump on it- I got a PS3.
But just because a company ends up having a decent line up of games in the end like Sony doesn't mean that I'm not allowed to be excited about playing some games that the competition are doing, no matter how close or not to a PC they may look.

You're almost certainly a disaster to videogaming. When did you make a game? With an exciting premise like an avenging Roman centurion in the heat of battle with scenery crumbling around him? That has Microsoft's confidence so much that it's an exclusive? Have you been spoilt by The Last of Us or something in to not seeing what other genres can bring to the table? Or did you want zombies and Marius to have a teenage girl to look after to pique your interest?
I hope you realise that if the PS4 gets off to a storming lead that is going to make the Xbox One the cult underdog.

Look, I like the fluidity of the visuals and movement in the Rayman 2D games but it's lacking in videogame history to derride Mario games - or any other platform games- against them.
Super Mario World still stands up as highly enjoyable and visually just right today.
And have a try on Castle of Illusion and Puppeteer and don't go on about Rayman quite so much.
