Good read! This is looking really good so far. I recall developers saying they were inspired by Skyrim, and it definitely shows. Glad to see many returning characters and an interesting story that includes elements, like the Fade, from Origins. I also really like the idea of a more open and expansive world to explore compared to the previous games that is even accessible after the main story campaign.

I am kinda hoping that Blizzard and Sony make a PS4 bundle with this version of Diablo 3. The game certainly has a name recognition to be worthy of a bundle. I have been considering picking up the PS3 version for months, but such a bundle would be a great excuse to finally buy a PS4.

Great seeing 2 songs from Silent Hill on the list. Well deserved.

I think most of my favorite video game soundtracks can almost be narrowed down by series between Silent Hill and The Elder Scrolls.

Also like music from Final Fantasy, Fallout, Mass Effect, Ultima, Journey, & Castlevania.

Totally agree w/kingxtreme81.

Look at the bright side, many gamers whom missed out on this gem on the PS3 will get an opportunity to play it, thus increasing the fanbase and in turn the likelihood of seeing a sequel sooner rather than later.

As the article mentions, it's possible his narration lines have already been done. Fallout 3 only had his narration at the beginning and end of the game, so its not much narration work to begin with. Maybe a good sign that it's closer to release than we think. Gosh, I hope that's it; this is by far my most anticipated game.

Would definitely recommend watching this for anyone who has already played entirely through the game, as it contains some mild spoilers, and really liked the overall experience. I enjoyed watching this documentary immensely a couple weeks ago after finishing the DLC. Naughty Dog really raised bar in character depth and storytelling with this video game IMO.

It really boils down to personal preference. To many, the currently available games are must haves, and to others, they're not. Was this article really necessary? I'd say no.

Personally, no must haves available yet, but that's just my gaming preference which I generally prefer RPG's and action/adventure games with a good story. While I currently continue playing though my shameful backlog of neglected PS3 games, along with replaying some favorites, I am confid...

Well, I am looking at this MMO more as a survival RPG than a FPS. And since this is being designed for the PS4 too, I was wondering if the PC version may be optimized to "officially" support a PS4 controller. I sit at a PC and use a mouse and keyboard all day at work, so I tend to prefer gaming with a controller.

Anyone know if the PC version will have any kind of controller support? Somehow I doubt a 360 controller will be supported for obvious reasons, but heard a PS4 controller works easily on the PC too. And I know a PS3 controller works as well with installing unofficial software, but I opted for the wired 360 controller on my PC despite I also own a PS3 too.

Actually, reason #10 in the article says it "will hit Steam Early Access in 4-6 weeks for $20" but also says it "doesn't require subscription fee," so its not totally free. I'll definitely be watching some Twitch streams of this when it releases and decide if its worth it myself.

Using AAA launch titles like Killzone & Knack to drive home this point is a bit unfair, launch titles generally are mediocre. I thought last generation saw lots of great AAA games, arguably better than the previous generation, many which sold great. Developers like Bethesda, BioWare, Naughty Dog, and RockStar, really delivered last generation IMO. Using Square Enix is a terrible example, this is a company that has crapped all over its Final Fantasy & PlayStation audiences last generat...

Sad to see him go, however it doesn't sound like he is completely done talking about video games, so there is hope he will return someday (hopefully soon).

While I do sort of understand some of the negative comments here as I too noticed some of Adam's Xbox favoritism and contradictions the last few years, I think they're being blown way out of proportion. Nonetheless, I still often like hearing what he has had to say, even when I didn't agree, mostly because ...

I kind of wish this had some kind of offline mode. I am more of an Elder Scrolls fan than an MMO fan, and based on what I played of the beta, the world and quests were interesting enough that you could easily play this like a single player Elder Scrolls game. It would be great to simply buy the game at the current $60 price, experience online free for a month as advertised, but then play offline forever without a penny more. Doing this IMO would probably lead to more paid subscriptions anyway...

All these reviews say its great on both the Vita Auron the PS3!

Good review for PS3 owners. Happy to hear the minor framerate issues previously reported on the Vita version weren't noticed on the PS3 version.

Good article, but to me it ignored the importance of story and character writing in games. Many gamers (myself included) are always looking for better stories and character design in the games we play, and The Last of Us is another shining example of this while also delivering excellent exploration, stealth, and combat mechanics to boot. Other game series such as Half-Life, Mass Effect, and GTA have done well in pulling this off, but after playing The Last of Us, it truly felt the bar had bee...

For me, Portal 1 was better, though I did really enjoy Portal 2 also. I found the 1st game more engaging in how it told the story more through the environment than narration; like when you first find the room where "the cake is lie" is introduced, telling the player that others like yourself have been here before. Portal 2 had way more narration through other characters and audio recordings, while Portal 1 used the environment and I felt that rewarding feeling of self-discovery in P...

It would be so great to win a free PS4 and Amazon credit for some games next month while I continue to polish off my pile of shame, a.k.a. PS3 games I still haven't finished. Please pick me!
