At least for me personally, it's my favorite game of this generation.
The day I got that game was the day I learned that the world is a cold, evil place.
With no respectable games to play, I wouldn't pay $10 for it.
It's actually even worse than it looks.
Yeah, all but the first few are multiplats. That's sad.
I can't believe they left out Skittles and that raft game. What kind of messed up list is this?
I just hope they don't change the matchmaking too much. The way KZ2 did it was perfect in that you could select from a list of rooms that were scaled more or less to your level. That approach to the lobby was great.
Also, I'm hoping the maps will be better scaled to 32 player matches. Tharsis and Blood Gracht were just too small for full games.
I don't understand why people feel the need to do stuff like this.
it isn't even funny. I just wish this title wasn't being released at the same time as KZ3. I hate having to choose one or the other.
I didn't experience a single crash, bug, or glitch anywhere during the SP campaign. I'm sorry the reviewer had a bad experience with the game, but no hiccups for me.
Unlike the reviewer, I also liked the ending. It was different, but it was also pretty obvious why the developers did it that way and I'm happy to give them credit for blending gameplay with storytelling during the last few hours of the game.
The only real complaint I had wi...
We're probably a decade away from any major 3D-only release. The install base isn't there to justify it at this point and likely won't be for quite some time, if ever.
I actually bought a 3D TV last year purely by accident. It's a Mistubishi 60" DLP that happens to be 3D-ready even though I had no idea that was the case when I bought it. Given the cost of the box/glasses for this, I have a really hard time seeing myself doing any 3D gaming anytime soon. Regular 2D HD is fine for me.
Actually, I don't think I would buy a game where I played as a Nazi. I definitely don't want to play as a member of the Taliban.
This game shouldn't be banned or anything like that. Developers should be free to take chances or make controversial design decisions to make whatever point they feel like making. But I play games for entertainment and escapism, and playing as somebody who thinks its a good idea to stone women to death for adultery and who actual ...
Online gaming -- This was always going to happen. Microsoft just screwed it up by charging people for it.
Hard drive included -- Again, this was probably always going to happen whether Microsoft started it or not. Strangely, though, MS went away from this with the 360 Arcade, which seems like a step backwards -- kind of like charging for online gaming.
Achievements -- Fair point. This was a clever idea.

I love this franchise. Day one.
But DICE *did* let Bad Company 2 go down the tubes thanks to never releasing any actual new maps. That game was awesome at launch, but it didn't have the staying power it should have.
I have a real hard time imagining that Sony is going to disable USB support. Removing a feature used by lots of honest PS3 owners has got be a last resort. Much more likely is that we'll see some kind of software-based fix.
I'll probably pick one of these up to go with Dead Space 2 and Extraction.
and if they want to have you playing as the Taliban, they're free to do so. For me, though, I'm going to pass. I was on the fence about this game as it was, and the Taliban thing pushed me in to the "no buy" column. I play video games for escapism, and taking on the role of a Taliban fighter just isn't my idea of fun.

There isn't much too choose between the two console platforms, since the gap between game releases on Xbox and PS3 seems to be fast diminishing or even non-existent. Exclusive games for the Xbox and PS3 platform are slightly in favor of the Xbox platform, we feel."
I have a hard time seeing how someone could write this with a straight face. Maybe the libraries are more or less equal if you go all the way back to launch, but...
