I owned both Pac-Man and ET for the 2600. Maybe that's why I grew up to be so cynical and jaded.
Sony knows that gamers want games. That's why they maintain a stable of first-party studios that keep churning out more exclusives than I have time to play.
There's absolutely no my question in my mind that my Top 5 would all be PS3 exclusives. Toward the bottom of my Top 10, I would start to think about games like Bioshock and Dead Space. I liked Fallout 3 and RDR and Batman, but I wouldn't have put any of those in my Top 10.
That's the old list, not the new list.
Maybe I can buy her a copy of this game as a birthday present. Of course, she doesn't play video games, but if she doesn't like it maybe she'll let me play "her" copy.
Seriously? It's not even in the top 25? That's just retarded.
Having GTA4 in a Top 10 list of PS3 games is obviously retarded, but that game is still so overrated that I completely expected to see it on IGN's list anyway.
But Batman? Really? It was a fun game, I beat it twice, and I have nothing against it, but come on. I wouldn't have even considered this game for my Top 10. Putting this above MGS4 is a travesty.
I wasn't going to buy this game anyway. Now, maybe I'll not buy two copies.
GTA4 at #4 overall would be an outrage. No huge argument with any of the rest of that list. Not how I would rank them personally, but I could see it coming down like that and it wouldn't be unreasonable.
Uncharted 1 is still in my Top 10, easily. I've never heard of Shatter.
Just to call it now, I'm going to be pissed if/when Motorstorm: PR fails to crack the top 25. I can't believe how underrated this franchise is.
I'm still skeptical about this until after launch when real user reviews start coming out, but I like the fact that this seems to work well and can be incorporated into core titles.
Fable III

Kinect Joy Ride

Agree. Flamelurker was the first boss to spring to mind.
Not really a close decision.
I took this comment as being more about Heavy Rains' relative lack of replay value, not really about Move itself.
I have absolutely no interest in Sports Champions or other games like this. Show me Killzone 3 with Move support, and then maybe we'll talk.
This is another example of a game that has no need for multiplayer. See also Bioshock. See also Dead Space.

"The thing most dont seem to see is that the day of free this and that is nearing an end."
No it isn't. I've always been able to play my PS3 games online for no additional charge, and I've seen nothing to suggest that that's going to change any time soon.
"Slowly...sony is adopting a pay to play structure."
No it isn't. PSN+ is completely optional. You don't have to be a PSN+ member to pl...
Not sure why anybody would find this surprising.
