Odd....
They also have amazing user-generated content and tools with the Forge system
we’ll be launching a new feature called Uncharted TV that will showcase some of the best user-generated content and videos from You Tube, viewable directly in-game
Is it just me or did he just out that U3 will have some kind of forge system. the way he divides Videos and UGC is very interesting.
Nice thing about this I bet it works on your Laptop and PC as well so if you watch videos on that you can do so with out pissing off others around you.
@Super M
That is not how it works, Graphics come mostly from good texturing and the art skills of the Devs. Lighting and Rendering are mostly handled by the GPU where AI and other things by the CPU. Ram is used mostly to store textures and help do more things at once. The difference lets say between a game like Killzone and Gears VS something like Alpha Protocol is the time and $$ put in to the game and the talent in the studio.
Well its not so much about that. The Android OS takes up much more system RAM then the NPG will on top of that you have all that stuff in the background running. That and the CPU and GPU are much more powerful then the ones on cell phones. I'd not worry to much the Xbox and PS3 have very limited RAM and look at the kind of games we get on it.
True but Cellphones cost Upwards of $600 They are not very cheep devices. I don't think Gamers would let Sony get away with a price point above $400 even though it would very much be worth it. If it is true then the reaction of gamer's to the speculated price is really only to blame.
These guys have really out done them self on this game.
I'm kind of pissed I wanted Google to win the bid.
This is really nothing to be honest, its all driven by there stock price which this Q4 is predicted to be the best in a long time for Sony. Once they get this all settled it will normalize out. Its kind of complicated when you are dealing with investors. So I'd not worry too much. IF anything now is a great time to buy stock in Sony if you have the $$ and know how to do it.
@Infamous
I hope they do something like that, we see it on Steam a lot where you can get the first game for dirt cheap or even free. I don't think giving Infamous out now would hurt them. Everyone that really wanted to play it has by now. And it would only help Infamous 2 do better so it is very possible.
We always hear this kind of stuff when any new FW update is talked about. I admit now would be a good time to do such things but it is also odd how they would do it 'now' and not sooner. As much as I'd like all that I feel Sony had lots of time to do it and if it was going to come it would have by now. Though I'd be happy to be wrong.
It cost them more, good example is if it cost lets say 1$ per DVD and they make around 4 million copies of the game for the Xbox alone that means they need 12 million disks. Even if it cost them 25cents it is still a lot of $$. Also more disks means it will weigh more and cost more to ship.
I use Goozex quite a bit and to ship a PS3 game is about $1.90 and an Xbox game is about $2.30, (At USPS) if you don't know, that is part of the reason blu ray and PS3 game cases are s...
I kind of like that PSN Store Mock up.
I'm always for better security, just saying that 99% of the time no company will spend the $$ to upgrade something like this till something like this happens.
My point is that its not as big of deal as people are making it out to be. There has been much much worse breaches in security in other company's that make this look silly.
That and for some reason people are making Sony out to be the bad guy and not the hacker. I'v not seen many articles a...
Not sure if I would call it a fault, I mean not like I have some ADT Security system at my home or the latest and greatest locks. If anything this was a good thing since it forced Sony to upgrade all of this and they should have the most secure network after the fact. So if anything it might not hurt to look at it in a positive light.
Fact is security only matters if you are a target, I bet if they went around checking to see what the security of all the company's in the ...
Funny I never saw anything like this when XBL was down for a good week or more and all MS did was give out a crappy game no one heard of. Just odd how we never see rant articles like this left and right for the issues other company's have.
I was mad that I missed it the first time, I'd hop on this as soon as you can, 35$ is a steal, the PS3 version will sell out fast just like last time they did this.
What you think of the new release of Ubuntu?
It is about damn time. Finally a game new site with some common sense... I'd give the site all my bubbles if I could but I can't :(
MS Powerpoint, trying to make sense of information you can't comprehend since 1987.
(Don't disagree with my funny comment!) (Sad face)
Well for them to win E3 they need to focus on where they are the most weak which is still the PSN and its overall robustness. They got games down and hardware and there marketing has greatly improved. This goes for MS as well there weakness is games. Big N's is a focus on the hardcore. So they can all win E3 if they just put a focus on where they need to improve.
