I'v been reading though a good deal of the comments and there is one issue with most of them. Everyone is assuming that all 3rd party games are going to have some kind of steam support. Right now it is only Portal 2. Sony dose not have the best track record for supporting new features, like the you tube one, in game screenshots and what not.

This is all great if it becomes a standard that is supported by all or most Devs. Even more so if we see it in Sony First Party gam...

Ya they been doing it for years. This is really the first time I'v seen Sony do it. Its not that big of deal, retailers buy Move from Sony then if they sell they buy more. So the only way for them to buy more is to sell the units on the shelf which. Not sure why people are getting so bent out of shape. I never saw this big of uprising over MS when they used shipped numbers for just about everthing.

Hard to do a list like that, since it is all opinion more or less. Some games like Haze where a big flop no one will deny that. Though RE5 and FF13 where still good games but not up to par with the rest in the series.

AC is hard to call a flop, sold amazingly well and was a very fresh game. That and AC2 and ACBH both improved much on the past games.

Biggest flop for me was Lair, I wanted that game to be amazing, I still enjoyed it to an extent but not as muc...

Best racer of its kind I think. Everyone that I know that plays it keeps telling me they don't know why the game is not getting higher scores. I'm not too worried about it the game is selling well and at the end of the day it is a great game.

I think the game is going to be much like MAG was, the game is much different and much better then when it first game out. GT5 I feel is going to follow that same path and get very good after market support. Its a hard game to review I think being that ether your a big fan of that kind of racing or you are not. If you take the game for what it is then its a very good game. Like any game it has its issues but in the end I feel they delivered on it.

Haha IGN Fails so bad, not only did one guy review the game for US, UK and AU which with other games they do three different reviews but they gave GT Prologue the same score....

I think it is Sly 4, it was already shown in the Sly Collection but has yet to be officially announced so that makes the most sense.

You only see Sales numbers when they hit milestones. Like 500k 1M and so on, coming out and saying we sold 1256824 Moves is kind of an odd thing. So once it hits another milestone we will hear more.

Well, safe to say that guy just got owned.

It to be honest does not matter if one outsells the other all that much being they both are very different kinds of motion gaming. It be best if they both do well and we see good support for each, but all that is relative to the fact they are both fundamentally different.

That is my only issue with Kinect is that for how much it cost I can get AC:BH, CoD BO, Kz3, and GT5.

(Most of those games have 10-20$ bonus offers on amazon)

That and I live in an efficiency which is basically a very small apartment, even if I had Kinect it would not work for me being I don't have the room for it.

What I get for what I'd have to pay for Kinect at this moment is not worth it unless you just want to be an early adopter...

I use the MLB app a good deal, you can still get scores and other things and don't need to pay for anything, All this stuff is not run by Sony, you have to pay for it no mater where you go. So no use in complaining about it.

Software would be nice but to be honest getting the best PS2 games in HD with other goodies I'm happy with. There are some old games like Warship Gunner and PTOVI that I love to play and are very nitch games same with Front Mission 4 that I'm sure we will never see, but at the end of the day I still have my PS2 to play those on.

Hope we get GTA HD Collection, that would be huge.

If I get F10 and F12 in HD with Trophy's I'm going to cream myself.

@ Alpha

Not sure about that the #1 thing that came up in Move Reviews was the lack of a solid launch line up, and that hurt the score of the hardware review, Cnet did this for example and gave it a much lower score due to it. All that bothers me is most of these sites don't keep a divide between the hardware and software.

And yes Move oddly is going to have more hardcore games working for it, hell it does now then casual. I think MS has the right idea by...

Cnet is alright for other things but when it comes to games and game related reviews they don't do that great of job. They are more focused on things like Cell phones and other software. So I'd not take there score to seriously.

I will admit Kinect does have a good launch line up. I think that is helping it out quite a bit.

5575d ago 3 agree11 disagreeView comment

That seems to be the case, I have been looking at a lot of reviews for this as they come up and it looks like they are rating it from a casual perspective. Move is also more targeted at that audience but did not get the same treatment which is kind of funny. I should have it in about 30 mins when my room mate picks it up after work. So I'll be able to see for myself.

To be honest it would make more sense for them to more or less like on FW 4.0 have a new OS that has been built from the ground out. More then trying to optimize and streamline the current one. MS more or less did that with NXE. I'd rather Sony did that then just keep giving out FW updates that fix things a little at a time.

5576d ago 0 agree1 disagreeView comment

Well powerful yes, but both systems have limited RAM. On the PS3 side its divided between the system and graphics. I think that might be the reason some of this stuff has not happened yet. Its all about optimization in the end, that and it depends on what they use to code it, not sure if the PS3's OS is C++ based, I know the Xbox OS is. If that is the case then there is always more ways to get things running faster. If it is C# or for some reason Java then not so much.
