Same here, and I'll say it again... I have yet to see console gameplay footage.
A day or two ago, an EA guy said, "BF3 gameplay is only being shown behind closed doors, but not on consoles."
As I've said before, EA is riding the hype of some high end PC footage. Remember back in April when Dice said BF3 would be running at a steady 30 FPS on consoles?... I'd be showing PC only footage too.

Battlefield 3 is no doubt going to be a kickass game, but dice is riding the hype of the PC version. I'm concerned with their April comments, "30 FPS targeted for consoles".
When I'm at the SD Comic Con at the end of July, I'll stop by the EA both, and ask questions about BF3.
Regardless of the reasons why it's not going to make it's way to the 360 or PC, I find it very amusing. The PC and the Xbox brand are known for their FPS fanbase. To see another FPS exclusive on the PS3 is hilarious. I know several PS3 owners who don't give a rats ass about FPS's.
You are correct... this is what I'm taking about.
A lot of the general public don't have a clue about E3. When the holidays roll around, advertising, and tech talk on all the morning and evening shows is what counts. I don't care for the Kinect, but last year it ended up on so many morning and evening talk/news shows, and became the "it" item to get for Xmas.

So Reggie from Nintendo over at Gametrailers said it's not a blu-ray drive, but rather a proprietary disc format. Did not disclose the capacity.
Just watched it, and when the PS3 footage wording comes on, all the action sequences with the soldiers dissapear.

I agree. Also, when AT&T was announced during Sony's show, you could here a few laughs and moans from the audience.

I have a 2D 50" plasma and a 65" DLP. The DLP comes with 3D, but that's not the reason I bought it. I have no glasses, because I'm waiting to see what happens. 3D content is pretty pathetic right now anyways.
Don't have any regrets of what you have purchased... just keep your eyes and ears open as you intend to do for the future.

It'll be better for you to wait on a 3D set. For the past few months, I've been reading about the decline in 3D ticket sales at the theaters. 2D is growing again. 3D could have a place for video games, but 3D starts in the theaters, and manufactures and studios are watching closely.
The never ending FIFA talk bored the hell out of me more than the Sesame St. Kinect stuff did.
I'm excited, but all we have seen is footage running on a high end PC. Back on April 10th, it was announced all over the place that the console version would be running at 30FPS.
I agree... but in the end, they both make millions.
I have a few friends that are cops, and they all play COD, and brag about it on facebook.

I don't expect any hardcore gamer would buy into Kinect. This is why it shouldn't show it's face at E3. Let the morning and evening news programs, along with general TV advertisng talk about it.
I mean, you don't see a trailer for a Disney film before the start of a film like Hostel. E3 is meant for 1 demographic.
The show was cruzing along for about an hour, then crashed when Kinect only talk took over. Yes, we can rip on M$ for all the Kinect stuff, but they know they see $$$ insight for this holiday season from both the hardcore and casual. E3 is for the core gamer. Advertising Kinect on TV around the holidays is for the casual gamer.
M$ had the boringest show last year, but had the last laugh with huge sales from 360 redesign and Kinect.

Your another PS3 fan that seems to let multiplatforms slip their mind. Gears 3 isn't even at the top of my list for the rest of the year. Skyrim, Rage, Deus Ex and Battlefield 3 are going to be quality multiplatforms.
I don't care much for the Call Of Duty franchise anymore, but a lot of others (not on this website) do care. And I'm going to laugh once again if Modern Warfare 3 becomes...

That 1 1/2 minute gameplay trailer that says PC footage in the lower right hand corner is nice, up until the 54 sec. mark... Then the action stops, the PS3 footage words pop up for a panora...
