I'm still waiting for something to top my Half-Life 2 gaming experience. I've never played a single player campaign like Half-Life 2's that I can replay from time to time. *Just my opinion*
It's nice to see developers like Naughty Dog put in the time and effort into single player campaigns like they've done with the Uncharted series.
So much speculation keeps flowing out that nobody really knows anything yet.
F.E.A.R. = Amazing
F.E.A.R. 2 = Good
F.E.A.R. 3 = Unfortunatley already forgotten.
In addition to looking forward to replaying Combat Evolved in HD, I'm also looking forward to playing it in widescreen. The first Halo was only in a 4:3 fullscreen aspect ratio for consoles.
By no means am I the biggest COD fan, but demise is not a word I would use with COD. Black Ops has been in the top 10 software sales for 10 months now usually between the #1-6 spots.
Your Halo comment... LOL!
9.9 - Well... nothing is perfect, only perfect intentions.
The only thing that the COD franchise (multiplayer) has ruined (or helped ruin) are lengthy single player campaigns.
I played it on the PC, and now on my 360... it plays very well and looks very nice.
You can still shoot down the palm trees, shoot the birds out of the sky, throw chickens and get eaten by the great white sharks.

It has now finally showed up on xbox live marketplace.

I think we have a new champion for worst article ever on N4G.
Portable movie watching didn't destroy the theatrical or home theater experience.
Playing Angry Birds on a smartphone is nothing compared to playing a AAA game on a 50" plus sized TV in 5.1 DD.
Casual gaming is, well, for casual gamers.
I can't even believe that I'm trying to explain myself... this dude is fired!!!
I didn't buy Black Opps, and don't plan on buying MW3. However, MW3 pre-order sales are way ahead of BF3, and Black Opps was STILL at #3 on NPD software charts last month.
It's going to take word of mouth and friends of friends jumping the COD ship for the BF series to be crowned.
I would like to say "get a job", but in today's economy, I just can't.
He's technically a huge fan, but he's more of an attention seeker.
Crysis 2 AI is not close to being amazing, and is actually a mess, but the AI in Crysis 1 is amazing (to me). So no, I'm not joking.
I could be a little more specific though. When the AI spot you or hear you, they start doing some pretty damn good slow methodical searches for you. At times they could spot you or hear you a little "too good", but I got past that.
At the very least, the Crysis 1 AI is amazing compared to the Crysis 2 AI (to me). I...
After you parachute out of the plane, you land in the water and swim to shore. But... I decided to swim back out into the deeper parts of the water. It's a little dark, but a huge great white shows up and starts to circle you. Then all of a sudden, it attacks you! It's pretty damn creepy.
Looking forward to playing Crysis 1... again! The AI is simply amazing. Can't wait to grab the North Koreans by the neck and toss them in the air, like this - http://www.ninjalane.com/im...
When you first land in the water, I'm going to swim out into the deeper parts, and look for that great white shark that'll circle you, and then...
I also agree.
No Half-Life... WTF?
No Half-Life 2... WTF?
Not a game changer, but I'll always remember playing through Red Faction 1.
Not a surprise. It's takin Sony a while to realize they can't live off just their name anymore. After 8 straight years of loosing money with their TV lineup, they are now going through a restructuring.
It was Samsung who helped Sony launch their Bravia line, and it's been Sharp and LG who've been helping them out with their screens.
Sony is also restructuring their mobile phone line as well.
