Your an amazing "videogame" programer, but please quit the nostradamus stuff.
I dont know... it's possible his peoples at Gamestop are also pushing BF3 inflated pre-order numbers to him and hip hop gamer.
Then you have VG Chartz (take it for what it's worth) showing MW3 way ahead of BF3 with pre-order numbers.
VG Chartz - http://www.vgchartz.com/pre...
If you look at the preorder charts, most games are multi-plats for both systems. Why, because they're going to kickass! People say the 360 has no games... WTF... I'm more interested in some of the multi-plats this fall than I am Gears Of War.
Stop the press!!!
This what we all need guys, the new and improved... smell-o-vision - http://smarthouse.com.au/TV...
All the negative talk for COD seems to be confined to gaming websites. Outside of these sites, MW3 is ahead of Black Ops pre-order numbers. I really don't have interest in the COD series anymore, but these numbers are stunning.
Speaking of stunning, MW3 for the PS3 is nearly 80,000 ahead of Uncharted 3.
If you have an open mind, you can see that outside of game sites such as N4G, not everyone sees COD as being mediocre or tiresome. I mean, just look at last month... Black Ops was still hanging around the top 10 at #6.
Yes, they will be a 2 console supporter this time. They will aim the 360/Kinect towards the casual, with the newer console towards the core gamer.
Let's be fair here. It's not just Fox News, all sorts of people have been bringing this crap up. First it was handhelds, now it's consoles... LOL!!!
I am so tired of people not knowing the difference between playing Angry Birds on a cell phone to kill some time during a lunch break, compared to actually playing a game from credible gaming device that gives you a hard-on.
I also agree.
And come on Pachter, if Skyrim is ready in Nov., it's going to sell like f**cking crazy. This game is going to have an ungodly amount of quality gameplay hours.
Pachter, start analyzing better.
As the old saying goes, "it is what it is."
All this means is that microsoft is ready to support 2 systems this time around.
3D gaming... maybe.
3D film viewing... yes to gloomy.

Prepare to have your ass hacked in prison, boy.
Well, these specs do match current TV specs, so why not?
I don't think Dice is playing favorites. Instead, they had to come out with some sort of info on the 360 version, and in this case, something positive sounding. After all, the Xbox brand dose have a massive FPS fanbase.
I think Dice/EA went about the whole BF3 footage thing the wrong way. They should have waited until they had footage ready to go on all platforms. Instead, they release some high end PC footage, the hype begins, they ride the the hype, then finally relea...
Both tray and sloted loading technology is dated. Yes, slot loading has been around for decades in car audio. I had an Alpine back in the 80's, and currently have another Alpine in my 4Runner.
As for trays... Most blu-ray players use the tray method, quite simple because they are more reliable. Oppo makes the best blu-ray players in the world, and they use trays.
You give PS3 owners a bad name... besides which, you weren't trying to talk up graphics and HD when you owned a PS2 Vs. an original Xbox owner.
It'll be interesting to see what Microsoft does:
1. Cave in and go blu.
2. Proprietary
3. Or dust of those 45 and 51 gig HD DVD's that were approved back in 2005 and 2007. (Would be used for gaming purposes only this time)
WoW, the word has even spread to grandma.

No denying that having some more exclusives would be nice. It means that one has more to choose from. This being said, Only 2 exclusives (at the moment) are in the pre-order top 10.
I am more excited for BF3, Mass Effect 3, and Skyrim than Gears Of War 3. People seem to forget about all the amazing multi-plat games that are on the way.
