FINALLY! I'm so sick of every game trying to tack on multiplayer.
CONFIRMED: Always night time in Infamous Second Son!
Racers don't need 60fps. Need for Speed Most Wanted ran at a stable 30fps, but the controller response was the same as 60fps. Need for Speed Rivals also has a very smooth 30fps.
Doesn't bother me. I'd rather have a stable 30fps (Assassin's Creed IV) over an unstable 60fps (Killzone Shadow Fall for example).
I buy all my non-day-one games used. No reason to ever buy a game new unless it's the first day it goes on sale.
They've never taken sealed games.
Wouldn't that be quite heavy?
BOTH.
I don't get it. Maybe I just haven't played it for long enough, but I'm really not that interested in playing AC4. However, I played the crap out of AC3 (loved it). Why can't I get into this game?
I would buy this for the PS4 in a heartbeat. Larger draw distances, less pop-in, less geometry pop-in, higher res textures, higher res reflections, more particles... the list goes on!
Infamous 2 can hold it's own, though the water looked weird and the draw distances were pretty bad. However, the art style and animation really made infamous 2 stand out for me.
It's not the third installment. Do you see a number 3 at the end of the title? No.
It's a whole new game with a new protagonist and a new story.
I never said it was unplayable. I just notice frame drops here and there and it's sort of jarring to go from ultra smooth 60fps to 30fps. That's the inconsistency I'm talking about. It just doesn't feel right.
However, when a game sticks to 30fps 99.99% of the time, you get such an even experience that you don't even notice that it's 30fps unless you had something to compare it to.
Infamous on the Vita will be Infamous Second Son via remote play!
I can tell by most of these comments that people don't read articles before commenting. People only comment on the title.
Do you think that maybe the reviewers are reviewing the GAME and not the FRAME RATE?
The consoles didn't fail at maxing out this last gen game... the developers did.
Don't blame the console for bad ports.
A constant 30fps with good motion blur will make it seem like 60fps.
I've actually heard people claim that Uncharted 2 was running at 60fps and I had to tell them that it was just really good 30fps. With motion blur, it's harder to tell what the framerate is because it's so smooth.
I have Killzone Shadow Fall and it's my least favorite PS4 game. It sucks so bad.
Fact is, you can get better graphics with a 30fps framerate.
