Where does it say anywhere that it's a remaster?
Games are complex. If the developers waited until it was truly bug free, they'd never release the game because there is always room for improvement.
The day 1 patch shows that the devs do not simply stop working on the game once it's done enough to go gold... they want us to have all of the fixes... it would suck if they denied us of that.
MW3 wasn't garbage. I liked it. However, Ghosts was garbage.
I thought gameplay meant the features and game mechanics.
I thought it was supposed to be story/gameplay over graphics, resolution and frame rate.... People confuse me sometimes.
DRIVECLUB maintains 30fps continuously no matter what is going on.
60fps with low quality graphics just makes me think I'm playing an arcade game... so yes, to me, 30fps reminds me of high quality.
No different than AC3 on PS3 (which I thought was fantastic and I hardly noticed the framerate slowdowns). The PS3 versions of AC were often really laggy. The only Assassin's Creed game in recent memory that was a perfect 30fps consistently was ACIV on PS4.
Am I the only one that hasn't had any issues with 2.0? Seriously... no rest mode issues and I didn't even change any of the default settings.
I also don't have crashing or anything weird like that. I guess I have a super PS4.
I love this car. No idea why nobody drives it.
I don't see why it would be shorter. We gimped along on PS360 for way too long and the hardware in the PS4/XBox One should last a good while.
I think you're mistaken... they're hiding the vegetation in the old-gen version. :-)
I agree, however, it would've been a massive kick in the balls if they didn't release it for last-gen because I was dying to play it last year.
TR didn't come out all that great in my opinion. It was a minor upgrade, but it suffered from performance issues on the PS4. By that I mean that it dropped frames in a lot of areas and wasn't a consistent 60fps the whole time.
If people don't think that Rockstar was using next-gen assets already and scaled them down to fit last-gen, then they're stupid.
Rockstar didn't release the last gen version and then start working on the next gen version. I think they've been working on the next-gen version all along, but they weren't going to be ready to release it at launch, so they waited until it was truly ready.
Parts of it look real and parts look really bad.
I loved DRIVECLUB. It's better than infamous second son for me.
How do you know it's a remaster? How do you know they haven't been working on the next-gen version since before the old-gen version even came out?
I'm sure they didn't start porting it to the new consoles just last year.
What if we don't have an issue with it currently?
I was just wondering where everyone is getting these terms from. I think it's just the PS4 version of the game. They've most likely been working on the next-gen/PC version all along, but needed more time to optimize it to their standards. I don't look at it as a remaster, but just a late next-gen release.
Would you say that CoD:AW on PS4 is a remaster of the PS3 version?
