To be honest... it looks very pretty, but the gameplay looks boring to me. It's all been done before.
I thought he looked quite a bit like Jake from State Farm.
Looks kind of like GTA V with lots more aliasing. Graphics are a bit meh to me though.
No thanks. I don't wanna stream my games, I want to own them and play them OFFLINE.
It's gonna be a sad day when I can't go back and play old games because they're not hosted anywhere anymore... but if I had the old hardware and the disc, I can play it whenever I want.
I can still play NES games on a real NES because they're physical copies.
Because we've been burned way too many times by pre-release footage and then the final game looks downgraded in comparison to the first gameplay video.
I just had an awesome idea! Developers should show off pre-release games with the graphics dialed down, then just before release, show how amazing the final build looks and everyone will scream GRAPHICS UPGRADE HOLY CRAP!
Ubisoft seems to show awesome graphics, then downgrades them right before release.
Just because they're targeting 60fps, doesn't mean it will release at 60fps... remember Driveclub targeting 60?
Get over it! Nothing is perfect. Everyone sounds like whiny complainers these days.
Get the hell over it. Games aren't that important.
I do not have this problem on my PS4, therefore it's not a downgrade. Stupid title.
A racer does not need 60fps. Driveclub looks and feels great at 30fps. When I first played driveclub, it looked like it was running higher than 30fps because it was so damn smooth. Come to find out, it is only 30fps with high quality motion blur which helps to blend the frames together better to make it look like its a higher frame rate without the judder of an odd framerate.
Are you aware that they recorded all of the sounds from real life? How do you get more realistic than that?
Cernunnos: It doesn't have to cause screen-tearing. Triple-buffering means a game can run at 43fps with no screen tearing. However, you'll still see judder.
Most TVs and Monitors run at 60Hz. That means the TV refreshes the image 60 times a second. If the frame rate doesn't sync up with the monitor's refresh rate, then you'll notice an odd stutter effect because 43 doesn't divide evenly into 60. However, 30 is half of 60, so you're basically seeing each frame exactly twice, resulting in a smooth display of frames.
However, if the framerate is an odd number like 40, then you'll never know what you'll ge...
I thought Unity didn't have a day/night cycle.
I'd be shocked too if I heard someone talking to their appliances.
GTA V is probably my favorite game, but I am the most harmless person you'd ever meet in real life. It's just a game. To me, it's no different than watching crime shows.
Why is driveclub on the list?
Am I the only one who doesn't care about all the online garbage?
You people need to get over it. People make mistakes.
I updated, but I have no issues. PS4.
I'd rather have next gen visuals at the cost of 30fps.
I'm sick of seeing these games that look just like last gen games, but they're 60fps. I didn't get a PS4 for a frame rate increase in my last gen games. I got it for the next gen experience and for me, 60fps isn't next gen.
Next gen is screen-space reflections, physical based lighting, advanced physics, advanced destruction, advanced AI
NOT frame rate or resolution.
