I respect your opinion, but I personally feel that AC:Unity takes the cake for the best looking open world title on PS4.
Civic Si would be nice.
I watched the whole video. Where are the amazingly detailed faces? I didn't see anything "next-gen" about the visuals in that video.
Graphics aside. I played the crap out of Driveclub because it's fun and addicting.
I think people like to make a big deal over rare glitches and then post it all over the internet saying "this game is a broken mess" when in reality, most people probably won't encounter those glitches.
I have yet to encounter a glitch in Unity... is my game broken?
Can I ask... what is different between Assassin's Creed: Unity on PS4 and Assassin's Creed 3 on PS3? I remember AC3 being just about a slide show during boston segments and there were cutscenes that had dialog but the person's mouth wouldn't move.
All of a sudden that stuff happens on a PS4 and suddenly it's unacceptable? Did people think that just because it was on a PS3, it had special privileges to play like a mess?
What Ubisoft did wit...
It probably won't look that good when it comes out. It looks like those were enhanced and cherry picked for the best possible conditions and angles.
If I remember correctly, Sony aren't the ones who brought down the network. DDOS is beyond their control.
The funny thing is... people keep asking for a more robust network, but if these guys didn't attack it, PSN would've been fine. PSN has plenty of bandwidth to accommodate it's users. DDOS attacks are not considered normal traffic.
That's funny because I already knew 2 of those cell phone cheats. I didn't know Catch Me though.
Agreed. The sense of speed in Driveclub is like no game I've ever played before. It literally has you on the edge of your seat trying to place 1st sometimes. I find myself leaning into the turns a bit for some reason.
However, PCars looks kinda lifeless and that sense of speed and adrenaline just isn't there for me.
Yeah, the physics are tuned for FUN. It's not a simulator, but it's not full out arcade either. It's a hybrid game. They have to make the game fun and addicting and this sim-cade blend appeals to more people because it's easier than a sim, but more challenging than arcade.
It's not even close to Mario Kart though. I think you're reaching a bit there.
If you think DRIVECLUB is average, then you must not have played it.
I mean, yeah, it doesn't have a pretty female voice that talks to you the whole time, but it's still fun.
Have you played DRIVECLUB? 5 minutes in and you'll forget that it's 30fps. It handles like a dream and never skips a single frame.
Plus, the motion blur blends the frames together so well that it (almost) feels like a 60fps game.
I have no issue with DRIVECLUB being 30fps. It runs and plays perfectly fine. Sure, it might be weird for a couple of minutes if you're used to 60fps all the time, but you will adjust and it will look and feel natural in ...
I was busy being with family and enjoying the holiday.
Am I the only one around here that finds AC:Unity fun? I liked AC3 the most, but Black Flag didn't do it for me. So far AC:Unity is looking to be as good or better than AC3 (to me).
I know a lot of you are going to disagree with me, but AC3 and Unity suit my tastes.
Well said sir. Bubble.
Does project cars have full damage simulation? If so, how'd they get the rights to do that?
It doesn't look like the rain drops are affected by physics. Also, it doesn't look like the wipers are wiping away the rain from the windshield which makes no sense.
Also, what's the deal with the raindrops on the camera. If they are hitting the camera lens, the camera wouldn't be able to focus on them and they'd be blurred like DRIVECLUB.
I agree. Infamous 2 was the absolute best Infamous. Grinding power lines kicked ass and I loved how you could pick up cars and throw them. I also really liked the grappling hook power.
