How come inside the cockpit at night looks so gray and washed out?
I love DRIVECLUB and not just for the graphics… it's an "edge of your seat" type game.
I'm glad we got the game in October and didn't have to wait because of more delays. I had a lot of fun with the game, and now with these bonus add-ons, I have more reasons to go back and play it some more. It keeps the game fresh.
By the way... no game is COMPLETE when it launches. There are always improvements to be made, but they have to release the game sometime you know.
When I think of a "lady" I don't think of a teenager. That's just wrong.
She's a 17 year old girl.
17 year old lady sounds just as dumb as 17 year old man.
Mental state or not, she's not a lady at 17. Nobody is a lady at 17.
Am I the only one that things a 17 year-old should not be called a "lady"?

You're not a lady at only 17.
I meant true next-gen graphics. Cross-gen games and last gen ports are not true next-gen games.
Because most TVs are only 60hz (and even 120hz and 240hz TVs won't display games over 60fps… I think it's a limitation of the PS4 and XOne hardware).
So games need to be either 60fps to match the 60hz refresh of the screen, or cut in half (30fps) and display each frame exactly 2 times to avoid an un-even judder effect.
If you play a game at 45fps on a 60hz TV, you'll see small pauses in the frame rate because the frames can't be divided evenly...
Here's the deal. If they can create more epic set pieces with lots of particle effects and great lighting at 30fps, then that's what they should stick to.
Why downgrade stuff just to get 60fps?
Seriously, when I see a 60fps game, I look at it like "what a waste… look at how much overhead this engine has… there can be a lot more improvements done to make this game look better."
When I played Uncharted 2 and 3, I never once th...
Has anyone here noticed that the true next-gen quality games are not 60fps.
AC:Unity
Driveclub
Infamous Second Son (was constantly below 60fps)
Dying Light
Ryse
Basically, you can have last-gen visuals at 60fps, or next-gen visuals at 30fps.
I agree. I don't just want last-gen game engines with 60fps... that's not enough of an improvement for me. I want global illumination, physical based material rendering, night/day cycle, lots more particles, better physics, more NPCs on screen, tessellation (or high quality parallax mapping) non-baked lighting, high quality ambient occlusion, indirect lighting and next gen animations.
Unlike you I can enjoy a game even at a "crappy" 30fps.
However, I have not played the game, so I could be wrong.
He sounded a bit more than annoyed. He sounded pissed.
I have to admit, I kinda like AC:Unity's visuals better and Unity is open world! The Order looks okay though, but the animation looks a little stiff to me and it seems to lack character. The protag doesn't look fun to play as.
...or you know, you could do something else with your life instead of obsessing over game releases. Is another month going to kill you seriously? People are really childish.
People should just get a PS4. Then, they could enjoy GTA V and loads of exclusive games that they're missing out on with having a PC.
The other problem I have with PC gaming is getting the games to play nicely all the time. You may optimize your game perfectly, but then come to an area or level that is more taxing and you find yourself trying to fine tune it again.
Then, sometimes graphics driver updates will break older games that used to run fine, but i...
I got my fun out of RRR, so the same game with prettier graphics doesn't appeal to me very much.
However, I still turn my PS3 on sometimes to play an Uncharted game every now and again. I'd love for those to get a remaster so that I can enjoy them on my PS4 as well.
I knew about all of those things? What do I win?
LonDonE: Yeah, Ground Zeros runs great, but it's far from photo-realistic. It's nowhere near the quality of Driveclub or AC:Unity. Heck, even Second Son looks better.
I thought GTA V looked amazing until I saw DRIVECLUB and Assassin's Creed:Unity and now I feel that way about Ground Zeros. It's pale in comparison to some other new-gen titles.
Nothing has infinite power.
