yeh, people need to stop making excuses and accept the facts.
we all knew the fate of the wiiu rested on this game, and it failed.
the wiiu is officially a failure now.
Thanks, i'l give it a go.
*SPOILER*
Yes its the guy who you have to use that meteor attack on
$200 for a controller... no wonder the wiiu is facing a vertical climb
its very linear, almost like a glorified streets of rage but with a leveling up system.
im stuck on the last boss for the last 3 years
its a shame nintendo dont have the same attitude. instead of trying to cater to every audience, they mainly cater to children
rayman and deus ex werent crowd funded. they were made by massive studios with money made from other massive projects. if their games failed they could still make more games.
correct me if im wrong but project cars was made with charity money. if the game fails thats the end for that studio.
because the developers have bills to pay? families to feed? you know, lives to live that require money.
why would they do that? that is such a missed opportunity.
hopefully they later announce he's in the game, otherwise its completely pointless.
almost like- ''here's what you could have had''
when the game was announced the wiiu was still a new console, after the wii, people were expecting wiiu to be a success. as we all know now, that hasnt been the case. obviously this impacts on how the devs view their projects...
they were hardly going to say ''the wiiu version is the most inferior and the wiiu is also a failure, therefore not a priority for us''
'' you like to post negative comments on a thread for a console you don't own''
im still allowed to have an opinion.
'' The console is not dead or irrelevant no matter how much the biggest wiiu hater wants it to be.''
im not a wiiu hater at all. just saying it how it is. yes the console is enjoying a little sales spike due to mario kart being release, everyone expected that, but that doesnt mean 3rd parties...
the wiiu screwed itself.
it doesnt matter if the original backers supported the game for wiiu, that was years ago when the wiiu was new and exciting. since then the wiiu has been washed up. its a dead and lifeless waste of a console.
there is next to no user base. now tell me, if you were publishing this game, would you showcase it on a dead console- regardless of what the original intent was, or what the original backers wanted? its business!
lmao what did you expect, its a wiiu, nobody cares about wwiiu (thee sales dont lie) and now you are crying because a dev doesnt want to throw away their golden opportunity on a dead console. jokes on you for being so naive!
promises are a comfort to a fool!
you have to think about it from their prospective, its a project they need a return on.. given the wiiu's current situation, why would they release it on wiiu first?
its lucky to be coming to wiiu at all
there is no confusion at all. the artical is simply stating the fact that while the wiiu does have some great games and will be remembered fondly for those games, it wont ever achieve the level of commercial success it was supposed to, neither will it climb out of its grave as fans keep on suggesting with the release of its AAA games.
nintendo are having an identity crisis.
their new games clearly demonstrate this.
that horrible squid game is possibly the worst nintendo game i have seen in a long time, in fact it doesnt even look like a nintendo game. it looks like something sega would make. in fact, not even sega, because sega would give it character.
as for listing nintendo's second party titles as 'new IPS' ... thats cheating. they arent really nintendo game...
nintendo are a one trick pony.
after a while people get sick of the same thing. thats why we have genres, to offer different things to different people.
true
because it shows how 'easy' it is to make a mario game, if you have the tools.
nintendo are also giving away all their 'tricks' by showing how simple they can create games with similar tools which feature in this mario maker game.
my fear is that with all future mario games (or just platform games in general) people will have higher expectations, because now they will know how easily they were made and might have even made better themselves. ...
quality, not quantity
microsoft released the x1 without kinect. they were smart enough to do that and make their console more competitive.
nintendo simply dont have the sense to do the same with wiiu.
the controller has proven to be nothing but a gimmick.
