exactly. people wont admit it but the 3ds version is for insurance.
the fact they launched the game before the wiiu version says it all. they know the 3ds version is the most profitable due to the appalling wiiu sales
im not even that bothered about the game. to me its just a fun/silly party game, not a system seller. beyonetta excites me more
its pointless comparing pc's to consoles, pc's have always been one step ahead. but im talking about consoles...
nintendo seem satisfied with being one generation behind, and fooling people into thinking its current by pairing it with a gimmick. with the wii it was motion control, with the wiiu that stupid controller.

next gen nintendo will give us what ps4/x1 gamers have been enjoying this gen.
konami developed MGS: twin snakes for gamecube. it was a big deal, and putting snake in brawl would have promoted the game.
a bit like how putting shulk in this smash promotes xenoblade.
of course now, after all this time those facts are lost, but at the time, having snake made sense. lets not also forget Metal gear started off on nintendo consoles!

i dont see what the obsession is with people and sequels. it doesnt give rise to originality... all it does is breed over familiarity.
i would like to see nintendo produce new ips. i would like nintendo to stop hopping on the sequel bandwagon that has the entire entertainment industry in a choke hold. i mean, if studios dont take risks with new ideas, you will ultimately end up with the same games year in year out but with a new lick of paint.

im not sure it will make a difference to nintendo's direction whether this game is a success or not. nintendo are infamous for doing whatever they want, regardless of the trends.
when i buy a wiiu i will get this game for sure. i never played the first beyonetta so will probably get the double pack
all jokes aside, this game deserves lots of sales, i hope it does become a success. not merely to spawn more sequels, but to attract more support from third parties, and more games of a similar tone...

i disagree. i think first and foremost people want a good game. a game should at first be good. if you are excited about how a screen on the controller will be used, you have literally missed the point. if the game is bad, no amount of gimmicks can save it.

people may laugh and think ubisoft are making excuses, but in one or two years time, it will actually be impossible for wiiu to keep up with what the other consoles are doing tech wise, and will therefor miss out on all the multi-platform games.
