zelda and little more.
i think in comparison to sony and microsofts show, its going to be an embarrassment.
i also think nintendo fans are conveniently downplaying the importance of E3. the show is a great opportunity to win new custom, attract new interest etc. i think sony and microsoft will capitalise on nintendos lack of effort to bring varied content to the show.
gamers will want more than zelda, but that is literally all nintend...
i dont think the console is under rated.people know it has a small number of decent games, the only thing worth debating is if the wiiu is worth buying at its astronomically high price.
i think not. and judging by the amount of sales, the vast majority of consumers think the same too.
a few good games, but under powered and over priced. not worth the investment
when you look at the console as an entire package, i rate it below the dre...
that would take too much work.
the object of this remaster is to do as least work as possible with maximum sale. its not about giving gamers what they want or need, its about a quick and easy buck
nintendo are doing a fantastic job of making gamers look elsewhere for exciting announcements.
all the attention will be on sony/microsoft.
we all know nintendo only have zelda to show.
plus im the type of person who likes to keep most of new zelda related info to a minimum- i dont like having my games ruined by spoilers. having the entire show zelda related is too much. i might actively avoid watching some of it just because i dont wan...
1- Zelda trailer
2- zelda demo
3- zelda tree house feature
4- more zelda info
5- more zelda
just shows how egotistical nintendo have become that they will reserve the entire floor space for one game.
talk about one trick pony.
either this zelda game is the best game in decades, or nintendo havent got anything else worthy of presenting in playable form.
my bet is on the latter
the recent direct which showed the pointless looking paper mario splash and the appalling looking metroid federation, definitely hin...
i think they should stop releasing content for this game on wiiu and just do an nx version with all the dlc included in a new retail ultimate edition for launch
the same for smash bros.
nintendo are going to suffer a humiliating defeat at the hands of sony and microsoft this e3.
nintendo think one playable game is enough to satisfy the curiosity and interest of gamers and journalists. they are wrong. even if it is zelda.
nintendos strategy for e3 is symbolic of their strategy for gaming in general- they put all their eggs in one basket. not everyone likes zelda. omg shock horror.
people have diverse tastes, people wan...
me too, its a bad format. too slow. who's got time to sit and watch other people play games, especially ones you arent interested in.
direct is better because its more to the point. they show trailers and keep the information relevant. i havent got time for treehouse.
even if they do show a game im interested in, why would i want to watch them play it? thats spoiling the experience. trailers are better. directs are better.
of course nintendo will show paper mario splash and the other rubbish games they previewed during their last direct.
Only Zelda will be at e3. The rest of Nintendo's floor space will be occupied by their ego
most of the floor space is for their ego
for the NX to be in trouble suggests it was once in a good place. it has never been in a good place.
nobody except hardcore gamers know what an nx is. nobody but gamers who keep an ear to the industry (ie all us who read n4g and the like) will ever know.
its going to be a commercial failure
i think the NEO name suit xbox more. i mean, i always thought microsoft were inspired by the matrix when creating the original xbox operating system/interface, with the green graphics. even now i always associate th green with the matrix.
xbox neo sounds better.
very true. but it would kill nintendo to promote another company like gamestop.
thats nintendo's problem, they are greedy. its the same reason they wont secure third party support- they are all about thmselves
why are people comparing review scores? QB is a different game with different aims to uncharted. its like comparing the review score for uncharted, with a gran tourismo score.
QB may well have far more movie parts, but that is obviously the focus of the game. that is the selling point. the same is not true about uncharted. so of course you would score the games differently depending on how they execute what they set out to achieve.
fans are simply too p...
@monkey
i didnt know you could unlock those features in starfox zero without the amiibo. its great news. i do actually own the game, i just dont own a wiiu yet so havent played it.
lets not beat around the bush, the idea of amiibo came directly from disney infinity. they stole the idea of using toys as a means to interact in some way with videogame software. im not going to waste any time arguing this further, its blatantly obvious its a copied idea.
Nintendo copied Disney with the idea. Nintendo will follow Disney by discontinuing the amiibos too.
And good riddance!!! Its gimmicky rubbish. Its just a way to make you pay for features that would otherwise be free.
IE in starfox zero you can use the fox amiibos to unlock the retro arwing... it should be a free reward for completing the game or some other in game reward.
Nintendo are following the industry trend of ripping off consumer...
it doesnt matter what the format is, if it doesnt have full developer support.
i mean, even on N4G, check the wiiu tab where all the wiiu news is suppose to be, and there is little to no news. no news items about current or upcoming games. that is nintendo's problem- they havent created a community, they havent created a buzz. and even a few years ago, the wiiu section was the same. you know its bad when sony/microsoft news is the first article in the wiiu section
no, nothing can save nintendo at e3, not even zelda. we have already seen zelda, its nothing new.
e3 should be for surprises. oh wow, a new zelda trailer, a game thats been shown at e3 what feels like the last 5 years
