i find it funny that you think nintendo didnt give careful consideration to the 30 games it included in the collection.
any games not included were left out for a reason.
many (including myself) wondered what the hell nintendo would do this christmas, since the wiiu has no games. obviously, with this NES mini coming out, this is nintendo's big product this christmas.
definitely not a criticism- its genius. perfect. i certainly will buy one!
Its insane. Beat thing ever
i think it is surprising. i wasnt expecting nintendo's mobile gaming venture to be that interesting, but they have proven they know had to apply their genius to that market too.
i personally think its a really smart app that utilises the pokemon franchise well, in the context of a phone app.
it gives the 'player' the experience of being a pokemon trainer, hunting for pokemon, in 'reality'.. i think its cool.
but of course there is a danger nintendo could be distracted by the popularity and start shifting their focus on more similar 'games', moving even further away from traditional gaming
i have never owned any lol
starfox zero
no. producing a huge game like shenmue with kickstarter takes away the risk.
if sega were to produce the game with their own money, and it failed, they would lose a LOT of money. when you are producing game with money donated to you, it takes away all the risk. they are basically making it for free, then getting all the profit from sales.
kickstarter is for suckers
the 6.3 millon is just insurance for if it fails.
kickstarter is BS. if devs want funding for their projects, go and borrow from a bank.
its a sad state of affairs when the gaming industry is begging the fans to donate money to make games.
i have a better idea, YOU (devs/publishers) come up with the money to make the game, and i will buy the finished product, IF it meets my required high standards.
kickstarter is ...
sony- jack of all trades, master of none.
all the unsold wiiu's will be repackaged as NX's.
pikmin 3 didnt interest me. i thought it was a random game that nobody really asked for. dont get me wrong, its obviously a quality title, but its the sort of title you add to a console once it has an established library of games. instead they released the game at a time when the wiiu had little to no games, positioning it as a major title. and lets face it- pikmin is not one of those titles... just a weird choice.
nintendo did that a lot this gen. they ignored the masses ...
Innovation is fine. in fact, its encouraged.
what we dont want, is a cheap gimmick masquerading as innovation. ie the wiiu.
it would have definitely been rubbish anyway.
shenmue is the only kickstarter game that is worth donating money towards.
why be disappointed? it looks like a really crap game.
women and 5 year old children dont watch superbowl
i think the problem with the current incarnations is the price. i mean, for peripherals, they are shockingly expensive.
i think miyamoto is right to be concerned bout price.
sold out now
