I'm still hoping for a resurrection of Brute Force, PGR, Mechassault, and Deathrow.
One can hope. AC2 was the balls when it came out.
@thanhgee To me it didn't matter last gen either or even the ones before that. I've always played games for the entertainment and it being a passion of mine, never because of sales. If PS4 was selling the least and Wii U was selling the most I still would not care about it.
"What matters is WW sales" I don't really think any of it matters to be honest. As long as people are having fun is what should matter. I think everyone should agree by now that PS4 is doing extremely well, Xbox One is holding its own and the Wii U will certainly continue selling at a reasonable pace.
Dude, that's too 2004...
Still have a feeling these type of attacks aren't over by any means. I mean look at how much publicity "Lizard Squad" got for doing something a 12 year old could do. People who love power/ego trips are the ones who pull this crap and I guarantee there will be more "Lizard Squads" in the future. Thank god DRM and all the other shenanigans weren't implemented this early where attacks like this deem it impossible to play if there is no internet connection.
Exactly. I say it should have the atmosphere and aesthetics of Gears 1, a story like Gears 2, and the smooth as butter gameplay of Gears 3. Playing Gears 2 competitively was one of the best times as a gamer and it had some of the best multiplayer maps in any game I've played (River, Blood Drive, Pavilion, Jacinto, Ruins, etc.) I hope Black Tusk can recapture the magic that set Gears of War apart from every other third-person shooter on the market.
Halo 5 has more mass appeal and always will but both games are a force on their own. Halo 5 is shaping up to be the best in the series since Halo 3 and if GoW 4 is anything like Gears 1-3 then that'll be fantastic.
If Nintendo shows off a new Metroid that would seal the deal for me to pick up a Wii U.
If its anything but Fallout 4 I'll seriously riot.
Its January 11th now, the whole game works.
Certainly can't go wrong with that list at all. 2015 will be one year to remember for sure.
I was hoping SOA would be something TellTale would tackle. It would work well with their style of gameplay in my opinion.
Still think any QTE in The Order beats "Press X To Pay Respects".
@sckipt What I meant was that 2015 will be one of the biggest years for all the brands in general. I don't recall a more stacked lineup in recent memory, maybe 2007 comes close but 2015 seems to be historical.
Also Xbox One and Wii U. This will be the biggest year for all 3 in years.
Halo 5 and Uncharted 4 will rake in some serious cash. It's awesome to see MS, Sony, and Ninty release their biggest guns around the same time with Halo 5, UC4, and Zelda U. Going to be a fantastic year for everyone!
I somewhat agree. I think games like Tomb Raider and Street Fighter shouldn't be exclusive to either because they've been on both platforms for years now. If it were a new third-party IP that was exclusive then that's understandable since there's no fanbase to divide. Things like Scalebound, No Mans Sky, Titanfall, and various indies on either platform make sense since there is no pre-existing history on any console.
If what you're predicting is right I'm going to be poor haha. I think right now for me aside from Halo 5, a Gears Collection would be insane. It'll give my buddies who are still on their 360's incentive to get a One. Hope Phil announces more games either before E3 or at E3 for 2015.
I honestly love the look of The Order. It looks friggin stellar. Screw all the haters who call it "generic". This will be a must buy for me.
