More likely that Nintendo can't really make any games with a compelling story that require a cutscene. Their games they have either have minimal dialogue/no story and just focus on gameplay, or some dialogue and a bit of focus on gameplay.
If you want a real story you need to own a Playstation, Xbox or PC to get full fledged RPG's, the type of game that really NEEDS cutscenes, and something that Nintendo have never really been that good at making imo.
Patch to stop this kind of fun happening again in 3....2....1....
Didn't Nintendo have to slash profit forecasts recently as the WiiU sales had dropped by 70% and the 3DS sales dropped a huge amount too (you can make the assumption that it's because people were waiting for the New 3DS but either way it's still a big slow down in hardware sales).
If they claim they will turn it all around in the May report they are delusional, especially as practically all the 'big guns' they have released did very little to bring all t...
If it is DLC that expands upon the game in a good way and there has been a decent amount of time between the games launch and the DLC being released, then it can be a good thing. Look at the GTA4 DLC, that was released quite a while after GTA4 and it made the game so much better!
If the DLC is already on the disc and you need to pay to access it *cough*Crapcom*cough*, has been pulled from the full game to sell additionally just to rob people *cough*Destiny*cough*, or the ga...
Am I the only one who remembers a few months ago, about the time The Last of Us was remastered, that Nintendo fans were trolling all the Sony articles saying how Nintendo only brings new exclusive content, but now there seem to be quite a few articles with Nintendo fans wanting more games remastered....
^THIS!!!!
I had a load of friends who played it, they hated the grindfest and stopped before I got to lvl 20 so I've yet to do it. Raids and the daily/weekely Nightfalls need matchmaking as I just can't solo either no matter how hard I try lol
This looks like the sort of game that the Wii crowd would have bought, Nintendo just assumed everyone that bought a Wii would buy a Wii U so the developers had to assume as well... how wrong they both were lol
I bought the full edition for PS3 and got this as part of PS+, it is an amazing port, just a shame there is no Peace Walker in the Vita version :(
I'm going back through it for the 3rd time now (I bought it day one) to get the platinum trophies. Finally platinumed Yakuza 3 a few weeks back, next is the platinum for Yakuza 4 then Dead Souls before 5 releases in the west. CANNOT WAIT!!!!
I use Near whenever it pops up saying 'there has been a big increase in your area' (only to find out it's me playing a new game and a handful of other people doing the same lol) and I use youtube to check out video guides whilst playing a game as it's easier than having my phone/laptop out, but I didn't use them that often so your idea about the traffic could be right.
Why spread yourself thin trying to support everything when you can get rid of a few services an...
Content creators on youtube only get a small amount of money per video play, and each one of these video views could be from someone who wants to buy the game but wants to see some real gameplay from a real person.
£0.01p (which youtube pays, so Nintendo aren't even losing money!) to earn your company another £40 is just common sense, not that the Nintendo execs have any of that...
I knew I recognised that handle somewhere, he was so arrogant during the hacking of PSN/XBL.
Tbh he definitely had this coming, hacking multinational corporations and sending SWAT teams to people's houses doesn't go unnoticed, no matter how much you try to stay anonymous...
I tend to play it on the system I used to purchase the game more than the other one. Hotline Miami, Minecraft, Fez etc I play on my Vita but I have the big screen versions on my PS4 waiting patiently for me to play them lol
I don't think the word 'facepalm', or even Picard's Triple Facepalm, even begin to get close to how stupid an idea this is...
Shareplay is effectively couch co-op, just using the internet. You wouldn't stop your friend playing Fifa/Madden/NHL etc at your house just because they haven't bought the game for their own system...
GTA Vita? That would move millions, MAKE IT HAPPEN SONY/ROCKSTAR!!!
That was the WORST thing to happen to it. It was the reason it went from having a massive amount of first and third party support to absolutely nothing thanks to rampant piracy.
"In the end, I suspect they will fail miserably."
Well it is being released by the same team who were selling a DDOS software which was hacked by industry professionals who stated the security of the Lizard Squad site and application was poor, all the login details of the people who had paid for the software was in an unencrypted plain text file LOL!
(I would post a link, but I can't remember where I read it, it was either on N4G or BBC News...
Evo, please make the difficulty changes an option, we just want 2 options:
Standard & Filthy Casual :P
Honestly, the difficulty is what keeps me coming back, it's a fun challenge. I don't want to overtake everyone by the first corner and then have a 10sec lead by the end of the first lap, I want my competitors to be in my rear view mirror for the whole race, pushing me to get better, trying to draft as much as possible then dive up the inside ...
Middle Earth, Tomb Raider, and for about £3 I'm gonna pick up Jurassic Park:The Game aswell. Can't go wrong for that price :)
My wallet is ready!
