My crew spent about 30mins on the final heist, I was the pilot, managed to keep avoiding the jets then landed and picked up the Professor. As we all bail out of the plane the 'Mission Failed' text appeared stating the Professor has died.... but he just got away in the plane?!
We retried it immediately afterwards and it worked, but that was infuriating!!!

Agreed, when I've managed to connect our crew has had an absolute blast playing them. The connection issues have made things a bit difficult to get on at peak times (we tend to play at 9pm GMT, when most people are trying to do the same...) but I wouldn't rate the actual content anywhere near a 3/10 at all...
My crew managed to complete the first set-up mission for The Prison Break yesterday at 9pm GMT but then we had server crashes, people who apparently hadn't finished the tutorial despite the lowest level player in our crew being 74, unable to invite players back into missions OR private lobbies etc.
We all knew it was gonna happen though, we were all playing when it first launched on PS3 and expected exactly the same thing when Heists launched. We will just wait a few da...
While I agree it would make it cheaper for the consumer, it would be a lot more expensive for Sony when the format gets cracked and Vita becomes Piracy-central just like the PSP did. That's a major reason for Sony using a their own memory stick.

You can use 3 additional AI Slayers, which makes it seem a bit easier as you are always slaying with teammates, but you don't have to take them with you. If you use the AI it's a bit easier than MH, if you choose to solo the quests it's just as difficult, if not more so, than MH.

Such a brilliant game, if you liked Monster Hunter but thought it was too slow you will love this! Action is a hell of a lot quicker, the graphics don't look like they were made in Microsoft Paint (Srsly Crapcom!! sort this out!!), and you can take additional, very helpful AI Slayers with you into every battle which evens the odds quite a bit unlike those USELESS cats on MH (it's optional, you can solo the whole game if you want).

Don't get me wrong, I am having fun whilst running the strikes, especially the harder strikes, but when I finish a difficult strike and get nothing worthwhile in return over-and-over again it just gets... less fun lol
The hype is real! I might have to play a bit over the weekend to get some more money, I run my own Crew but i'm currently the cash poorest of the whole crew... but I do have 2 garages full of exotic, expensive cars :D lol
Wow, just.....wow.... how do these companies think ANYONE will buy these at those prices?! I would guess the lower end machines will sell a few (the $479 model) but they are bound to have poor specs and need upgrading pretty soon (if they can be upgraded, i'm not sure), so you have no option but to sell your house, car, and family to buy the others....
If I wanted to get a steam machine I would just build my own PC, which would be a hell of a lot cheaper than all of the...
Stay Vita exclusive, end of. If they release it on PS4 it would just get swamped by all the other big games coming to it, and the original is still a major selling point for the Vita.
The Vita needs some more love from Sony, not just 3rd parties (incredibly happy Vita fan here btw!)
i'm not normally one to beg for remakes, but PLEASE REMAKE RESISTANCE 1!!! It was probably, and still is, the best FPS I have played, and the only one I completed about 10times in total. The story was great, weapons were imaginative, and it had some frantic online modes.
