If thats true, that is awesome! The only thing I personally heard was during the reveal, which I thought the president of Gaikai said would work on your home network. Even that was enough for me as one of the reasons to go for the PS4 over XB1. So if there is even more to it, that is a nice bonus.
I believe remote play only works in your home over your network, not over the internet. I think the author is looking for internet remote access, rather than in home acess. Personally, I am not that concerned about remotely managing my system other than being able to buy something while away, but I can already do that through the sony store, so I am not really worried about that one.
This article seems to be implying that you will get all 4 of these on day 1 (although they didn't explicitly say it, that is what it felt like), but when they talked about this at the E3 conference, I thought they said that we would get 1 each month. I am pretty sure the three indie games will be coming later as the monthly free game from PS+, not all 4 at the kickoff of the PS4.

I bought a vita on Black Friday last year for 180, and it came with Assassin's creed Liberation, PS Allstars Battleroyal, and 3 months of PS+. Its hard to find that deal right now, but it certainly doesn't cost $300.
The PS4 does NOT give you 50 games a year. They said 1 a month (the first of which is a scaled down version of Drive Club, followed by some of the indy games in the next few months). You are counting PS3 and Vita in the 50 games a year.

I wouldn't blame MSNBC for something a local NBC affiliate did in their news either. Local affiliate news has nothing to do with the cable news brands.
There are a lot of people who hate Fox News because they are right wing media. The people from this broadcast were not part of that. The local affiliates in that show are actually left of center.

That wasn't Fox News. That was a local Fox affiliate and Fox Business, neither of which are related to Fox News, other than being owned by the same company.
You only get 50+ games a year if you have a PS3. If you are going to be new to PS+ with PS4, you get 12. The first is a partial version of Drive club, and most of the rest will be smaller downloads. If you are trying to attract new customers, PS+ won't have nearly as much value as it will for the longstanding customers.

I've definitely been paying attention to Daylight, Contrast, Octodad, Transistor, and especially Lords of the Fallen. Those 5 all looked like must plays to me. Anything that can bring more attention to those games and hopefully up their sales is cool with me.
Lorne Lanning and Jonathan Blow have each made one of my favorite games of all time. They both seem to be mad at Microsoft these days. Blow just lights into them, but Lanning is at least sometimes trying to take the high road here. I prefer Landing's technique. Say your criticism, but at least try to salvage some ridges if things can get better.

@kopumogli, I don't have a PS3, but I do have a vita. I see the remote play ICON, but I have never had a chance to use it. I have the 360 and had an original Xbox, but never had a PS2 or PS3. I am switching over this generation, so I look forward to trying out the remote play.
