@z2g
So you're saying that timed exclusives are bad, but permanent is good?
Or are you saying that you care more about the the action than the result? For example, it seems to me that you'd rather Sony buy up all those studios they made a timed deal with and make them permanent exclusives than them doing a timed deal?

"You mean How everyone in the industry for the past near 15 years was asking for MS to buy studios with all those trillions they were sitting on? You know so they can be "competitive" to Sony? How can you forget that's common knowledge why they're buying up stuff."
I didn't know people were begging for MS to buy Activision and ZeniMax for 15 years so that they can be competitive to Sony. All this time I thought people were asking for them to ...
But n4g told me buying an entire publisher that was making multiplatform games and then making future games exclusive is a pro gamer move by Phil and not supervillain like at all. Keeping a game off of GamePass, however? Now that's crossing line and going a bit too far! Shame! Stop being terrified of GamePass Sony!
And MS hasn't done the same? So.....
Alright. Sony has to pay up Kojima to make a VR MGS spiritual successor after this vid and that would be your "killer app".

"Who asked for an open world Sonic game?"
I wouldn't mind an open world sonic adventure 1/2 type of game.
The issue isn't that it's open world, it's that it's lifeless. Devs need focus on making their worlds feel alive.
Mainstream games, I agree that they aren't as good as the past mainly because they want to focus on "realistic" real-time gameplay instead of just evolving on the turn based system and viewing it as a gameplay style/genre and the stories aren't as memorable either.
Anime on the other hand are at it's peak. There have been plenty that have surpassed the ones that you mentioned.
"Snarkily Schools"
For most people, the whole "day one first parties" is just a console war bullet point. Sony changing their stance on this won't change their stance on which service is better.
So they'll announced it next year. Cool. Looking forward to buying it
Wonder if this will be part of the DualSense Pro controller that was rumored
Abriael put the price in the title knowing full well people would complain about a single dlc plane costing $35 and would there by generate heat. Genius.
If a Killzone 2 remake happens, it will sell millions, I promise you. So many people appreciate that game now than when it originally launched.
Why you use 'since' in the title when you correctly use 'than' in article?
Rhetorical question, I know why.
Nobody has an issue with arresting criminals. But killing them before they've had their *right* to a fair trial is an issue. Add on top of that they were reluctant to *arrest* Floyd's murderer at first. . . . . . .
That said, in regards to the game, people need to understand that videogames aren't real life. They're entertainment. GTA doesn't promote criminals or police brutality/violence no more than movies or tv shows do. I don't recall a show or m...

"since when was kz2 deemed garbage?"
As with anything, things don't get the appreciation it deserves until way after it's release.
KZ2 got a lot of flak for it's weighty controls that many mistook for input lag. People didn't like that it wasn't a twitch shooter like CoD. You also had people saying things like "it feels like you're controlling a midget", "enemies take too long to die&q...
All I want is for them to build Killzone 2 with multiplayer included from the ground up, keep the gameplay the same, and I'll be happy.
GG with KZ3 and Shafowfall haven't been able to match KZ2 so I don't really have faith in another sequel.
Unfortunate that KZ2 came out during COD era where every game that didn't pay like Modern Warfare was deemed garbage. KZ2's multiplayer is definitely an all time great.
**"If this were xbox consoles people would be all over the internet roasting microsoft"**
This wouldn't have even made it past pending on n4g if it was. Would have been reported by the very thorough usual suspect users on n4g, that would have caught on to the fact that the one person putting in the claim would have to prove that it's widespread and would unlikely be able to do so and therefore this is a baseless article not worthy of approval.

Looks like Microsoft needs to re-up on that chip priority deal
