I don't get the entitlement gamers have. Yeah it's expensive, I won't be getting one at launch because of the price, but to call a company scumbag or arrogant for a price on a product is ridiculous. Just either wait for price to go down or don't get one. It's not like the price is crazy unreasonable.
PSVR1 was $400 so that was the minimum the second one would be. Most reasonable people should have expected a $450-$500 price tag. Being $50-$100 and at wo...
This priced me out from getting one. This is DOA in regards to VR going "mainstream". I guess PSVR 4 or 5 to be when VR is adopted by the masses. I expect PSVR 3 to be expensive as well.
Well next year coming up in less than two months is supposed to be the year. No more excuses after 2023.
"I foresee MS buying Take Two within the next 5-6 years if this is allowed."
And they would be applauded and cheered for doing so sadly.
Nobody is jumping the gun at anything. People are pointing out that the same people that cried anti-consumer and greedy at Sony when they increased their price are all of a sudden a lot more rational at Microsoft's statement. Literally people said that MS would follow suit so nobody is bashing MS for it, just pointing out that the diehards that attacked Sony are coming out with reasonable responses when they weren't doing that for Sony and called people that "defended" Sony ...
LOL
One, this isn't about him. Two, never said that Jim doesn't do it, but Phil is a lot worse at it for sure, especially since he tries to portray himself as pro consumer/gamer regardless of what platform you support.
I'm not saying that they should do it, but it would be funny if it did happen.
What Phil says at this very moment no longer holds any kind of weight. He's shown that he's prone to "changing his mind" later down the line. Let me know when he says this AFTER the acquisition goes through. As of right now he's just saying we want to hear as he's been doing since he took over Xbox.
Would be hilarious if Sony lowered thier price after Microsoft increased theirs.
"although a price hike of the latter is probably a long time coming."
Sounds familiar.
No one is taking issue with the "rationality" of it. It's the hypocrisy. Just as you did it yourself here.
You bring up people "defending" $70 games as if you have an issue with it even though there are rational reasons and the same "value assessment" applies to it as well. But when it comes to MS eventually increasing the price on any of their products, it's no longer "anti-consumer" or bad/evil, just something that is inevit...
Lmao I forgot about that. Phil always just says what will get him the most brownie points at the time. That's Phib Spencer for you!
Who might you guys be referring to 👀???
I need names!!!
The hypocrisy is wild. Finally showing your true colors out in the open.
Didn't have that on my bingo card today.
Does anyone else have this issue with Spotify's shuffle where any playlist greater than like 100+ songs gets like the same 25-30 songs shuffled instead of the ENTIRE playlist being shuffled?
This is such a deal breaker for me that I might go back to apple music. I know that Spotify has a "smart" shuffle option but their "regular/normal" shuffle option doesn't work properly for me.
It sucks that they increased the price, but it's hard to not want to still get one because Sony delivers on content. People were paying aftermarket price before the price increase anyway so that's another reason demand hasn't wavered.
