PSVR2 isn't the first platform to not be backwards compatible and won't be the last.

People need to put their money where their mouth is and not buy PSVR2(not that most had any intention of getting it anyways). Otherwise continue to cry about not being able to play games many dubbed as "glorified demos" anyway from a platform that wasn't successful due to "low adoption and attach rate".

You wasn't saying this several months back, if I had to bet.

1354d ago 1 agree2 disagreeView comment

Yeah people back then would call it an "excuse" that blind fans made because they couldn't stand that Xbox was ahead and also that Xbox was also experiencing supply constraints too.

Several people on here are going to be upset come 2023 as they've been holding out hope until then. Maybe they'll be happy in 2024!

Also impressive to see Sony maintain their success from generation to generation despite negative press and missteps.

The presence of Sony and Nintendo's competition had to pressure MS to make this move! Be happy you Mad Lad!

Why not release day one on plus as well?

It's the "right" thing to say. He's trying to keep up the consumer friendly image Xbox has going on right now in the media. Has nothing to do with actual beliefs.

Lmao you're right, the second vid is more impressive. Sega should be embarrassed.

Personally I never even liked it when games went up from $40 to $50 and then later $60. Always felt that $40 was the perfect price point for games. Give you 2 20s and be on my way to play the game.

At the end of the day you have to vote with your wallet. All this bitching and moaning about price increases and microtransactions don't mean anything when people are still paying for these things.

"Phil two faced"

Phil broke out the check to purchase Activision. If he wants to keep it exclusive to Xbox and PC that's his decision as they own them now. There is nothing wrong with that from a business perspective. From a gaming perspective that's a different story which is why you don't go around saying stuff like this to paint a certain picture:

"I’ll just say to players out there who are playing Activision Blizzard games o...

"Phil Spencer is so two faced. He pretend to be for the gamers instead he showed his face as a liar."

Exactly. But his worshipers will not admit it. They will dub this as him having no obligation to do so (which I agree), but then don't go around saying stuff like I'm not in the business of keeping games off other platforms, I'm trying to protect y'all from Google, I trust Sony, etc.

@Orchard

Sure, but then don't lie and act your the good guy like Phil is trying to paint. All that talk about trying to protect us from big bad Amazon and Google and how he trusts Sony and Nintendo is hogwash.

They bought Activision and Bethesda before it to get one step closer on being the sole competitor, nothing more nothing less. Don't try to paint as being pro gamer when all you want to do is crush the comp. Own it and say it.

"And I also give up on games on GamePass much more easily, because I FEEL like they are "free", so I FEEL like I lose nothing if I just stop playing it after 15 mins, but sometimes I missed out some good games because I didn't give it a good enough chance"

This is actually an interesting point.

Sucks that you can't do that in the US, would have been very pro gamer of them to do so. Also why not expand 'prorated refunds' worldwide. Doesn't make sense to have it in some countries and not others, unless laws are forcing them to have that option and therefore would otherwise not have that pro gamer refund option if not forced to do so.

No, these are clearly the truth, because Everything Sony Does Is Wrong. They are incapable of doing anything right except for whatever Mr. Witchcraft deems so (which is nothing) or anything that makes the golden company Witchcraft loves so much look good.

"Sony legitimately didn't pay the money to secure chips for the PS5; then paid to keep PS4 on store shelves after they basically cancelled the console."

PROOF?

If you're just gonna say BS without anything substantial to back it up you are no different than the Sony fans on this site that you think you are on a pedestal above.

Lol you're one to talk. Back when MS was leading you was saying Sony was "too cheap" to secure chips and were focusing on selling PS4s instead of PS5 and a whole other bunch of BS.

"pay for a car loan that you own more on that it's worth"

I think you misinterpreted what he was saying. He was saying do the financially responsible thing and use your money to pay off your house and expenses OR do the financially irresponsible thing and take out a car loan on a new car, that depreciates in value fast (thus the "more than it's worth" line. Interest rate on the loan increases your overall payment overtime and the car loses it...

Well we had one on here saying unlike MS, Sony was too cheap to secure chips to keep PS5s in stock. . . . .
