The Batman games were like that as well. No citizens due to story, which I agree with you, is a lazy ass reason/game desi for not having a dense populated world to explore and interact with.
This is why the demo should have been taken directly from the game. Will be skipping this that's for sure. Hogwarts Legacy coming out a week or two after anyway and I was planning on stopping everything to focus on that game.
We get it. You don't like it when PlayStation has success. Sorry that GoW topped the charts. Maybe next year when when Microsofts games release you can be happy again.
Article is saying that the game is featured in a bundle not that that's the reason why it jumped two spots. It's saying that Sony being able to keep PS5 in stock is the reason. CoD also had a bundle as well.
I never said you said it wouldn't sell well. Was talking about GoW being at the top of the charts vs CoD and Fifa and you saying bundles are the reason why.
Are you suggesting that GoW wouldn't stay at the top of charts without the bundle or that the bundle is the main reason it's at the top?
Facts aren't welcome on n4g anymore ever since orchard took over.
I didn't know that Activision was Microsoft's first acquisition. If so why are people upset? Microsoft has spent years growing talent like you grow trees with the likes of ZeniMax/Bethesda, Ninja Theory, Rare and co. The one time they decide to buy a publisher along with their studios people are upset? People need to stop picking and choosing when to enforce the rules and let them have competition!
Funny that "competition" in the gaming industry is who can...
But but Phil tells the truth! Why the need to be deceitful if this deal is perfectly okay!? Tell your truth and everything should go accordingly!
@IRetrouk
Wow, MS shot themselves in the foot. Acquisition not going through.
At least manage your studios to the point where you can at release SOMETHING in a given year. Is that so hard to understand? Weird that you're defending MS when they are clearly in the wrong here. Sony is the last one where you should be worried about their gaming output. They get the benefit of the doubt while MS does not, hence the "wait for e3" memes. It's not a double standard, MS doesn't have the track record while Sony does.
Thought Xbox and Switch out sold it on black Friday and the week after Thanksgiving?
For those that didn't see it

Sony isn't taking anything away from Microsoft to make them "smaller" though mean while Microsoft already has with Bethesda and will do so with Activision. Activision is more than just CoD. CoD is just being highlighted because it's the most popular.
He also claims it wouldn't be a good business decision to take CoD off of playstation which I agree with, but the same can be for taking away Starfield, elder scrolls, etc, but here we are. Remember when P...
Which IPs are these?
Spiderman, MS had the same opportunity to create a marvel franchise of their own .
SF6 is coming to Xbox.
SFV is in the same boat as Bayonetta where Sony "bankrolled" the development just like Nintendo did for Bayonetta. Unless you're saying that Nintendo pays to keep IPs off of their competition's platform as well?
You are missing the bigger picture. It's about what you highlighted; "Anything that was still under development is off the table since taking ownership."
At the end of the day, once MS owns Activision, they can do whatever the hell want because they own them.
Finally some good news regarding this.
If this goes through Microsoft will buy 2 more major publishers after this (Ubisoft and Take would be my guess).
ZeniMax was okay seeing as that was the first and at the time assumed to be the only one. After going after Activision though, it's clear that Microsoft is picking them off one by one.
Seems like SE will be releasing demos for a good number of their games this gen. I wish other publishers would follow suit.
Your point 1 was how I felt about the zennimax deal. Microsoft needed to make the purchase for the reasons you highlighted.
The Activision deal in theory is the same thing for all intents and purposes as the zenimax except for one thing; This isn't their first time buying a major publisher anymore.
This Activision deal to me makes me feel like your point 2 now. If this deal goes through, they will buy at least 2 more major publishers after it, I guara...
We're getting old lol
Never thought I'd see the day where people shit on universally accepted classics just because they're old or were too young/weren't born to play them
