Where did I say "all"? And I'm sure you've said something similar in the past, but my point is that in the end, what matters the most is if your game is good. Sure live services games has huge earning potential, but chasing after that revenue stream for sake of money won't work if you don't have good core game to begin with.

Hogwarts Legacy is always online? If so that will be a deal breaker for me. It doesn't even have a multiplayer component.

Haha You were definitely one of those that believed all the BS stuff regarding the "true" PS5 specs (RDNA1.5 anyone?) prior to release, and have been sorely disappointed since.
It's more of a principle/unnecessary thing. Why make it always online when it doesn't have to be? Creates an otherwise avoidable barrier when things do go down.
What's funny is that Orchard can be very detailed oriented/meticulous when he wants to be... If this wasn't Sony, you can bet he'd be the first to point out that Sony never had any projections in the first place and would quickly point out the "author's" history.
