Oh the irony
Microsoft is not stupid and neither am I. Microsoft is playing the long game not the short term like you guys are focusing on.
Switch gets the inferior version of one game for 10 years. After that guess what happens...
GeaForce will go the way of Stadia eventually. Microsoft knows this which is why they are willing to do this. And even if they do remain Microsoft will take the games away after 10 years...
People with GamePass can alread...
"I can't imagine not being able to get COD on my PS"
How about the other Activision games?
If Sony didn't oppose it, it would have gone smoothly. There's a reason why Phil was crying that Sony was trying to make themselves bigger by making MS smaller and whining how there's no such thing as a forever contract and how if it's about competition then let's have competition. Sony opposing it was a headache and they announced Nintendo and Steam agreements shortly after.
And no the deal is not better post-acquisition. Activision has other games besi...
The consumers are not empowered at all. Nobody is empowered but Microsoft if the deal goes through. Only thing that changes is that all of Activision's games that are/were going to be available on playstation will no longer be from that point forward.
They've gone beyond the call of duty on all of these deals because Sony opposed it. How petty and pathetic of Sony to force MS into making deals that you applaud and cheer for.
You can already play Activision games today on your Xbox. The deal could pass through tomorrow and nothing changes for you.
😂🤫
I was told that if you raise the price in one region at a time then price increases are okay! So MS is still pro consumer and this news isn't outrageous at all!
"Why does MS have to create a VR headset too just because Sony has?"
People need to have this logic when it comes to Sony and wanting them to have an exact replica of GamePass on their system.
I had to Google it to make sure it was a real word lol 😆
Preventing Tencent from acquiring Activision is like a top 5 reason why some want the deal to go through. Just like how preventing Amazon, Google, Apple from acquiring studios/publishers was/is a thing too. Everyone can't acquire Activision except for Microsoft!
I was told that the only way to stop Tencent is to allow Microsoft to buy up the industry.
Most people that aren't big on VR never tried it. Once you've tried it, you can see the huge potential VR has. Just need the medium to grow so that companies can justify dedicating huge budget on titles for it.
Yep, if only it were possible for Sony to shadow drop VR2 along with call of a mountain to avoid the narratives the doubters were trying to layout prior to reviews. :P
If only Sony could have shadow dropped PSVR2 to avoid all the negative narratives leading up till launch. 😜
We need Switch successor.
That's some high praise right there.
So you're saying this game does not have "delay written all over it"???
Right... just like how you don't support price increases from both sides...
