Deal only includes CoD. Tell Phil to bring all their Xbox games in addition to CoD maybe he'll sign it.
Yep the only way for MS to compete is to buy every publisher in existence apparently. Otherwise you don't like competition.

The contract that Sony has right now is just for marketing rights... The contract that Microsoft is proposing is for written commitment that they will release the actual game on playstation. Two very different scenarios. CoD not releasing on a playstation console was never a realistic possibility until Microsoft purchased Activision.
You are assuming that Microsoft would want to renew the deal after 10 years. They aren't obligated to extend anything once they own Activision.
Because you have look beyond the 10 years. The deal is only good for that period of time. What happens after that? Microsoft can do whatever the hell they want once they own Activision. You have to look at it long term, that is what Microsoft is doing so Sony should too.
That's what I was saying. Sony is only using CoD as a talking point to get the deal blocked. Keeping CoD on the system isn't the priority, stopping Microsoft from buying up the industry is.

They don't want Microsoft buying up the industry. It isn't about CoD perse. Did Sony complain about Bethesda purchase? Sony sees where this is likely headed. Activision today, EA tomorrow, Take2 the day after. CoD is just their best chance at getting the deal canned which is why they aren't taking the deal. They care more about stopping it than having CoD.
Hopefully they're next on Microsoft's list. Can't have Tencent getting them.

Split screen is more so content than feature. Wouldn't make sense for a game to have split screen on the X and then if you decide to play it on the S it's no longer there when it's the same game same disc(although discs don't apply to the S).

FF titles are timed. Other projects where Sony actually does fund with their own money like Spiderman you still complain that they are exclusive 🤷♂️. But then are okay with Microsoft buying publishers whose games are already on their console and are taking away games from the competition. CoD is one game which they are bringing to other platforms for 10 years, but the other games they aren't. Bethesda games they are...
Good Guy Microsoft are protecting us from Tencent, Facebook, Amazon, Apple, Netflix, and Google by buying up Bethesda and Activision. Hopefully they buy up EA and Take2 next to further protect us. /s

If it was as generic as what you are saying it wouldn't score high and this article wouldn't exist.
What are you talking about? Sony's whole business model currently relies heavily on big budget single player games like God of War, The Last of Us, Spiderman, etc. If those games ever flop, only then will Sony ever be in big trouble because that is what they are heavily relying on. Sony is merely adding live service games into their portfolio, they aren't replacing single player games.
The problem is they are taking games away.
