Very interesting tidbit I read in the Youtube comments. I've yet to fact check it, but if true, I guess Golf's inclusion is pretty awesome in honor of Iwata's life.

Here's the tidbit:

"Golf was originally hidden in the Switch's system and you could access it by holding the joy-cons and performing the gesture Satoru Iwata used to make in directs. NES Golf was one of his favorite games, and Nintendo added it in as an easter-egg to h...

Pretty lousy lineup, considering how long we've waited since the last NES update.

Do we really need Golf when we already had NES Open Tournament Golf, which is almost identical in graphics and gameplay?

Another Dirty Word update. Probably can't say "Nintendo" now without paying them a royalty.

Nah, I think going after emulation of old games is stupid, especially since a lot of the old games aren't available to play anywhere. No longer on the market.

This however is going after people pirating current games on the market.

Nintendo is notoriously stupid aggressive and overreactive, but at least for pirating new Switch games, they're right on this.

Yea you're right. I completely forgot that one was actually delisted. My apologies.

I'll give praise when praise is due. This is a great move on Microsoft's part. Kudos.

.....Forza Horizon 4 should have never been delisted this early though. I never particularly cared for the music, they could replace or remove music tracks for all I care. You don't see Gran Turismo delisting their games bc of licensed music. Make better decisions in the production stage if the music you choose is going to cause the entire game to get deleted from gaming histor...

Yes, VR confirmed! Assetto Corsa is an incredible VR experience, especially modded and using a wheel.

Reminds me of a silly rhyme kids used to say in like 4th grade, "King Kong plays ping-pong with his rubber ding-dong".

Yea I just wish Pyoro had known better than to trust Schreier. For me a good leak doesn't ruin things, it only gets me more excited. I like how Pyoro doesn't outright tell you what's coming, but leaves clues. His last Twitter leak didn't pan out to be true though. It's possible that the corporate makes last minute changes on the Direct.

I love the games, hate the business. For me, I don't mind protesting and waiting for sales. But you're right, there are the braindead fanatics who just buy it regardless. Much like supporters of exploitative microtransactions & GAAS practices on the other consoles

Yea, in my comment I originally wrote "Classic Schreier." and deleted it out at the last minute, but it's so true. I remember I first came to really know his name back when he got Kotaku blacklisted once or twice.

I almost ran the above Pyoro story the other day, but didn't think I could post an article about just a Leaker (in the same way we can't post about Social Media Influencers).

Yea, Jason Schreier outed the infamous leaker Pyoro this last week. (who has one of the highest accuracies among leakers) Pyoro was accused of being a Youtube insider, and he told Schreier confidentially that his source was in fact an employee of Nintendo of Japan. Schreier took it public though, despite the promise of confidentiality and Pyoro promptly locked his Twitter account, saying "Wtf I didn't know they would include my responses in their report".

Standard is $11.99 and Ultimate is $19.99 right now on Steam, so it's a good time to pick it up and own it.

As mentioned in the article, Metroid Prime Remastered was perfectly priced and a phenomenal remake. I didn't even hesitate to buy it day 1. This game I'll wait until I can get on a B2G1 sale, probably holiday of 2025. I have no problem waiting. I want it, but not that bad.

Yea, I honestly have never been a follower of hockey, but I did grow up occasionally playing games here and there with some of my friends. Especially Blades of Steel NES and I honestly think my last one was one of the NHL ones on PS1 also! This may stir up some nostalgia. I wouldn't have bought it otherwise, but I'll give it a go w PS+.

Whenever one of these young kids now days calls me a Boomer (even though I was born in the 80's), I take that label with pride. Boomer Sooners, baby!

Sometimes I like to log into Fortnite and Call of Duty and just sit and listen to 12 years call me a n*****, f**, m***** f***** just so I can remember why I like to play single player games.

Yea, Humble Bundle and Fanatical are where I got a large amount of my VR games specifically. The deals are just too good to pass up.

I'm part of the problem. :\

I have more games that I haven't played than ones that I have. By A LOT.

Did you not properly read my comment?

I said: " For all you Gamepass folks, you better jump on it soon! " As in, you have until December to pick it up if you still want to buy it and keep it forever. After that, it's gone.

My comment was directed at Gamepass players who aren't buying games anymore. This is why it's better to just buy them outright earlier on when they're on sale.

I'm going to file your resp...
