I liked Mystical Ninja 64, but the real gem for me is Legend of the Mystical Ninja on SNES. It's one of my favorite SNES games, and actually makes my list of overall favorite games of all time. It was one of the first games that I remember that introduced co-op minigames. Seriously, I lost so many days of my life playing air hockey w friends. The co-op adventure was amazing from start to finish. Great pacing, great boss fights. I played through it so many times w different friends.

Not sure what you're going on about. I just enjoy a controller with good consistent vibration in my hands. ;)

Yea, try turning the power on all 444 of those at the same time and see what happens. XD

This looks awesome! I had played OG Doom on PC VR, and old school FPS games feel incredible in VR. This one is definitely on my radar.

The best part about this no doubt will be the modding community. I'm sure some really talented individuals will give it a proper graphical overhaul.

I often got One and Apocalypse (starring Bruce Willis) mixed up, because they were so similar. Both were decent for their time, so I'd add Apocalypse also.

They should remake the Friday the 13th game from NES... except you know, make it good. :)

9 of these are Not For Resale versions, so no, you probably don't own these. I own them, but not the NFR versions.

It's a McFlurry of desperate moves at this point.

"Keep the vibration quality consistent regardless of how you hold it."

I'm on board. 👍😁

Those prices are astronomical. Wish I bot one earlier. :\

That was an often mocked reference from a 1996 Doom comic "Knee Deep in the Dead". Doom Guy gains the Berserk power up and says, "I will rip and tear your guts. You are huge! That means you have huge guts! RIP AND TEAR!"

Ugh, I just bought my first extra DualSense 2 months ago (Silver). They're so pricey, but man is this sexy. I may just end up w 3 controllers soon. XD

I used to play the OGs, actually my very first MP online shooter back around 98. Even if this game turns out to be an absolute turd, I feel I have to at least try it for nostalgia's sake!

Thankfully that's the case! Good to hear indeed.

Atari 50: The Anniversary Celebration was phenomenal in the way they presented the history of Atari. It was actually just as much fun to watch the mini documentaries and view the historic material as it was to actually play the games. No other Retro game collection has been this extensive, so for this reason, there is no better studio to collab with Nintendo than Digital Eclipse. I just wish they'd throw some money at some licensed property games, bc we already get rereleases of the main ...

I like that they actually made the effort to localize these. You don't see that enough with retro game collections.

I'm happy that Sunsoft is making more effort towards gaming preservation, so I happily picked this up yesterday actually on the Switch bc it had a launch sale on top of already being cheap at 5.99 reg. Like the article says though, I do have a soft spot for the game bc I owned it back in the 90s. After playing it some last night, I had some fun which mostly bc of my nostalgia for it. I couldn't really recommend it for the younger generation though, unless you just have a dying curiosi...

Moreso than just the graphics, I am actually blown away by how fluid Mario controls in Mario 64. It still feels good by modern standards. The camera though certainly didn't age well.

To me, these are still best experienced on a CRT bc the blur really did give a more rounded edge illusion, as if they were actually higher poly than they really were. Playing then on sharp HD screens of today rob you of that, and really make things look like cardboard boxes. The consoles of...
