@Christopher Ok cool, I wasn't expecting for you to reverse my deletion haha
But yea, I think we should allow submission of this kind of news and just let the community decide if it passes or not, bc as even you admitted in the N4G pinned post, gaming news has been slower lately.
The reasons for the dip in the Japanese markets may not be directly pertinent to gaming, however, the implications of this crash may have an impact going into a Nintendo Swi...
Funny, bc the art style has been praised by most reviewers and sites as one of the game's highlights. But art is subjective, you're free to dislike it. Everybody has different tastes. :)
Ok, i can delete it out. Was unsure.
Speaking of Dark Mode, I like it very much EXCEPT for the Scores on our About pages. That yellow is so bright that I can barely see the numbers. Can you guys make that more legible?
Yes, please! I submit a lot of NintendoLife reviews, and their titles can be a bit wordy, but they're also a good overall summary of the reviews that make you want to read them further. I usually have to find a way to cut out some words and shorten NintendoLife down to just an "NL" at the end.
*Christopher, thanks for at least noting it for a future update!
Ha yea, the head dev John put this meme together (below) but it describes it perfectly. XD
Hollow Knight is so up-close melee based so a Metroid/Mega Man mashup is much more accurate for BioGun. It just has hand drawn art assets w a lot of parallax that gives it a Hollow Knight-ish look, but only superficially.

Yea, "for now" bc Silksong is late 2024 at the earliest, 2025 most likely. There's definitely room for both, but doesn't mean it should (or could) be completely forgotten. :)
Not surprising, as it was just a mouthpiece for Gamestop, owned by the same parent company.
That said, I still enjoyed it some, I just always kept it in the back of my mind that reviews may sometimes be skewed towards what they want to sell and get preorders of.
I'll miss it though, as a memory of my gaming history.
Today's the day! Really hoping this comes to console down the road. :)
Yep, I truly enjoyed my 360 (until the red rings). At least they took chances back then. Say what you will about the Rare titles on it, I personally enjoyed Kameo and the Viva Piñata games a lot. Although far from perfect, I still had fun w Perfect Dark Zero as a launch title. They actually made an effort towards jrpg fans w Lost Odyssey and Blue Dragon. They weren't just games that were bought out, they were actively assisted in development.
It all went downhill a...
The price cut hasn't hit my region yet, but I'll probably get one this Fall if it does. It's worth it for Gran Turismo alone at the lower price for me. Can't wait to play it w my wheel setup. I just haven't jumped on it yet bc I already have a Quest 2, so a lot of the multiplatform games I already have. I'll hit Horizon Call of the Mountain, RE8, RE4 and Switchback too.
Absolutely. Nintendo developed so many genre defining games in the early years. Mario really refined and popularized the platformer genre. Metroid has defined that exploratory free flow progressive action exploration games which ultimately influenced the future direction of Castlevania titles, until the Metroidvania subgenre as absolutely exploded into one of the most popular indie genres of modern times. Zelda refined and popularized the early the action adventure w rpg elements. There's...
I really dig the water effects on the Octopus boss! I want to see this gameplay footage in 4k. This is going to look so sharp on a big screen. Can't wait!
Yea, not really a loss since we got them with the Monthly Games. :)
Finally, I date lamp!
Yea, these games didn't even feel Ubisoft at all. This felt very authentic Nintendo. This guy's direction is obviously stellar, and Ubisoft somehow managed to not kill it with microtransactions and repetitive, boring tasks.
It's got an Otter, I'm sold!
Looks like something I'd have a blast w my kids.
Yea I played the Full Game Trial they had open on Switch for a few days and I really liked it. Been meaning to pick it up there, it's a good portable title. Also would be nice for the PS Portal.
I'd add Rogue Galaxy, Shadow of the Colossus.
@anast I mean, you could just call Mega Man "Mario with Guns" if you really wanted to.
