I need to see more before making a final judgement. I don't trust Bloober to deliver on this at all given their past games. But we'll see.
Agreed. Based on their past games, They really haven't earned the privilege of recreating one of the best games from the PS2 / to date.
Konami & Bloober: Challenge Accepted!
I'd say they've already ruined James. He looks weird, a bit like a kid in the face.
In all seriousness though, just don't touch the story at all. Zero reason to change the story. Then the only thing they can screw up is the gameplay/combat.
Bloober Team... Konami why you got to do us like this. I suppose it could be worse - it could be Double Helix or Vatra.
I'd argue it did reach RE's level of success, at least back when RE was survival horror. But Konami screwed it up, the only person to blame for it's lack of success today is Konami.
Commenting is caring...
Wasn't this already known ages ago?
Sounds like the acquisition should be approved then, if they're so far behind :)
Competition is healthy & good for gamers.
I'll withhold judgement until I see / play it myself. I don't trust Konami to deliver on much these days.
Nice controller, but $200 for this is too much. At this rate, PSVR2 will cost more than a new PS5.
@S2Killinit Wouldn’t defeat the point of wireless. Having a wire go from yourself to yourself that can be tucked under a shirt is no where near the same as being tethered to a box (which you definitely don’t want to yank off the TV stand) while trying to move.
One lets you move freely, the other does not.
Yeah lol.
Or wait for the:
“We’ve managed to get two legendary teams back together for a new Silent Hill entry - please welcome to Konami, the teams behind Double Helix and Vatra Games!”
😂
Seems like there’s some good and bad arguments in there.
Sony does indeed abuse their position as market leader when they increase prices with no fear of retribution from gamers.
On the other hand, trying to compare Bungie and Haven to Activision is comical - Haven haven’t actually made anything, and Bungie is a nothing compared to Activision.
Woo, please be good and don’t be a skateboard or pachinko. 🤞
@Silly You said it, not me. I’m just following your rules 🤷
Weaker consoles hold back the others - 2tf is quite a gap - about 20%. Therefore it must be holding it back.
If the above statement sounds silly or inaccurate, it’s because the foundational logic behind it is.
@Outside Sure you can. Game developers can obviously scale graphics - we do it all the time on PC and we do it for mid gen refreshes.

This gen is being held back more by the fact they’re still making PS4 and XB1 games than by the Series S.
Devs are also still releasing games that run on 2014 GPU’s, see Miles Morales for the most recent example. Surely that is holding back games more than Series S? (Judging by your logic above)
Also, the situation you’ve outlined above is no different from last gen where we had “pro” consoles that were substantially different spec from the base consoles....
Funny, it can run games like Cyberpunk and FH5 fine, but can't run Gotham Knights? This is clearly on the developer and not the hardware.
Also let's stop painting artists as if they're really responsible for hitting target framerate / know what they're talking about when it comes to rendering optimization. Engine & rendering engineers are the ones doing the heavy lifting there - and any engineer worth their salt knows the Series S isn't a problem bec...
Yep, GamePass subscribers are clearly not happy. That is why it's the highest subscriber count in its subscription class and is generating 3bn dollars in revenue. It's also why Sony chose to copy it. Makes perfect sense. /s
Heck, Sony don't even agree with your statements, they stated: "it would take several years – even with substantial investments – to create a rival effective for Game Pass."
Must be good stuff in it if it would ta...
Thanks, but I enjoy my current job.
Well, you know for sure this will appear in the next statement MS submits to the CMA :P
