I think this is the first time in history we actually agree on something :p
GWG continues to be absolutely dire and in need of putting down.
Also, they didn’t even provide some kind of replacement for the two 360 games they removed? Seriously?
Except that’s not an accurate comparison.
PS+ numbers include those in the basic tier paying for multiplayer - GP numbers do not.
To get a realistic comparison you’d have to compare PS+ to GP + XBL Gold.
Super stoked for this. Literally counting down the days.
Not super surprised, a ~75% target is pretty aggressive - but I guess it’s also the target for the CEO of a major corporation to get a bonus so it should be high.
Not hitting it doesn’t mean GP isn’t a success though - exec bonuses are different targets - and the key takeaway IMO is that GP is profitable which hopefully means it’ll continue to be a service we can subscribe to.
Crash 4 was great - that's the beauty of opinions - I can really like a game even if you do not :)
I'll second the asks to bring back the blades. The 360 blades were the best console UI since consoles started having 'real' UI's / in-game overlays.
Isn't that a compliment? Walmart is the biggest retailer in the world by a large margin - so that would mean Xbox is the biggest in gaming / the biggest gaming platform in the world? They obviously aren't, but I'm sure they appreciate your compliment.
Pretty sure that isn't the case. They're already 'made' and have been for decades & Bethesda are too big for any one game to 'break them' (see F76).
@Crows90 I've been able to make an insane amount of points by just switching from Google to Bing as my search engine on my PC and phone.
Pretty much the same search experience, except when you go check your MS rewards balance you're pleasantly surprised :P
I don't think it'll have a big impact on the industry, only the first company to increase prices has such impact, and that has already happened.
That being said, I don't think they should do it either, price increases suck for consumers, and the economic reports out today state that the US economy is finally growing again after 6 months of shrinking, so hopefully things will get better.
So you're still claiming they have 250m GP subscribers? Obviously they do not...
Well at least they kept them in proper combat uniforms and not soccer outfits. I hate when you go on an online shooter and people are running around dressed as pink fairies and wizards and stuff.
EDIT: Moving my comment to the non-duplicate article.
Still the best platformer we've had for ages (Crash 4 was close, but Oddysey is still better). In fact, I'd go as far as saying it's the best game on the Switch to date.
He's probably referring to the game he's working on with Xbox - that was previously announced as a game "no one has ever experienced or seen before leveraging the power of the cloud".
Now the question is... what is he using the cloud for that makes it so unique?
@sinspirit They make about 3bn dollars a year from GP, and have confirmed that it is profitable. See below for source.
@talocaca They confirmed it today in an interview with Wall Street Journal (WSJ), Link is in my comment above and I've copied it below too: https://www.vgchartz.com/ar...

Welcome to 2022 where disks are just licenses.
Where did I say that? Please show me.
I meant put down like a sick animal :p
Although I do think online play should be free (cloud saves already are) - and if the free games are going to be as garbage as they have been for the past year or more - they can go.
