“Because Metal Gear and Silent Hill belong on PlayStation and you all know it.”
Konami games don’t “belong” to any platform - they belong to Konami.
MGS and Silent Hill have both been on Sony, Nintendo and MS platforms.
So I guess the loyal PS fans weren’t bringing in enough $$$ 🤷
Why Sony? Sell it to Kojima Productions.
Not that they would since they likely still hate each other.
Fixing the headline:
Konami doesn’t deserve any of their franchises
There’s still a Horizon game this holiday, just not Forbidden West :p
So a dollar store has more quality and quantity this holiday than a premium store? Ouch…
PSU is not N4G or run by N4G - completely separate website, as are the other submissions.
And I highly doubt “PlayStation Universe” is anti PlayStation…
“I will purchase Battlefield 2042 and the new Call of Duty and Elden Ring though all will be purchased and played on my PS5”
So what you’re saying is neither console has any interesting games for you this holiday and you could’ve just bought a gaming PC instead, or saved $500 and just stayed on PS4/XB1?
Whoops, someone didn’t read the article.
All of the games listed above are in the article.
@CaptainHenry Two random YouTubers being “worried” (for views) means nothing.
There are millions and millions of Halo fans out there - and many are pumped for Infinite - myself included.
100% Agree. I'm having lots of fun with Psychonauts 2 & 12 Minutes - and looking forward to Halo & FH5.
Lots of good indie games coming too through both ID@Xbox and Humble.
If you like co-op, wait and play the game at a later date.
I personally plan on playing through this solo and don't want to wait another 12 months for the minority of gamers - thanks!
First decent month in a long, long time. ZOE is the real diamond here.
If you predicted the games why didn’t you tell everyone? We would’ve loved to find out sooner.
This person must've missed all of the great games that have come out in the recent years...
We have great classic games and we have great modern games. I like to play both.
"Let me explain something to you" Sounds totally condescending lol, especially when you proceed to spread misinformation.
Sony are one of the biggest publishers but c'mon, R*, EA, ATVI games etc. all outsell them - and release at a more regular rate (minus R*).
Do you think Sony would want to be releasing HFW on the same day as say, Call of Duty? I highly doubt it. Same goes for MS. The only one of the console manufacturers who is really uni...
@EvertonFC You're taking this a bit too personal... He wasn't even bashing Sony / praising MS... he was bashing Kotaku.
@Shadowsteal Most games we've been playing on our PS5 were also available (or possible) on PS4... so what? We got to experience them with better visuals, higher resolution and higher framerate. Someone playing the same game on PS4 doesn't degrade my experience or enjoyment.
So it's pure speculation by a small indie dev who has never actually made anything that would require an SSD or UE5's nanite etc? Got it.
Also the reality is, developers aren't dropping the Switch anytime soon, so don't expect lots of "SSD only" games.
And yet their game is still coming to PS4, XB1 and Switch... so I guess whatever level design they're doing hasn't really had 'big changes' due to the SSD.
The console requires AC power - it can’t run on battery…
@Bathyj You do realize GP isn’t a charity right? Developers get paid - and Xbox accounts for a lot of revenue for publishers - they aren’t going to opt to give that up.
Also since when did Xbox make you “get your game running on cellphones”?
