Or they could just do something like Smart Delivery - but then they lose out on the extra $10-20 per unit.
Heck, I never thought I’d see the day that Sony were ripping us off more than Activision and EA…
@Knushwood Guerilla confirmed the differences a while back. PS5 has higher framerate, resolution, better lighting, water effects and other visual effects.
You can’t have completed this game on PS4… it isn’t out until next year.
Most PS4 owners will likely buy a PS5 I’d say. And now they’re put in the position of wait an unknown period of time for a PS5 before playing HFW, complete it on PS4 and don’t play it enhanced ever, or pay extra to get a special ed...
@Nakiro how is bundling 2 copies of a $60 game and selling it at $120 predatory?
It would need to cost more or only be available in a double pack to be predatory.
I do however think Nintendo need to lay off the WiiU remasters - at least at full price.
@VersusDMC Pokémon is worth $60, it isn’t a small length portable game and $60 is the normal price for a video game nowadays.
“ Wait till you have the PS5 to buy it...
Hardly the same thing.
- Pokemon Shield / Sword costs $60, not $70
- The $120 double pack is entirely optional. You can still play the most recent/best version on the most recent Nintendo hardware for $60.
- Nintendo didn't release the double pack during a console transition (with extreme shortages) in a time window where people would be looking to move from one generation to another. Sony are cashing in on the fact that people cann...
"the PS5 controller literally puts you inside the game, the 3D audio literally puts you inside the game"
Literally? So you are actually inside a video game now? How is it?
This is a hard to understand, anti-consumer, mess.
It's like PS3 all over again - Sony's ego going to their head because they had a successful console in PS2/4.
We should be pushing back on Sony the same way we pushed back on Microsoft with the XBL Gold price hike BS.
Pretty weird definitive edition:

Great numbers all round - the industry is going strong!
This is shaping up to be a huge generation for the big 3.
For a 4 year old last gen console it’s certainly doing a great job of consistently kicking the ass of both next gen consoles…
Why would journalists want to slow down anything? That makes no sense.
I can confirm this works - the 'Hitman 3 Starter Pack' lets you import Hitman 2 levels and play with the new Hitman 3 engine/visual improvements etc.
Good month - Overcooked & Hitman 2 are great games worth checking out.
No. One of the most boring games I’ve played.
That's pretty sweet, I had no idea that existed - thanks for sharing!
That figure sounds way too high. The "worth $100m" likely includes a bunch of free marketing/TV ads etc., devkits, so on - I highly doubt it was $100m in straight up cash.
It’s only a couple of degrees Celsius warmer.
Obviously this is going to have no noticeable impact on hardware lifespan, especially on hardware that is used for thousands and thousands of hours.
If it lets them produce more units during the pandemic then it’s a great move for consumers.
The article is “10 games to play on Xbox”, not “10 games to play on Xbox, PC, PS5 and Switch”.
The tags are fine and the article is accurate.
Next up he'll be telling us Microsoft only managed to buy Zenimax because Zenimax were close to going bankrupt.
DF already commented on it and supports his video:

I see, I thought you meant HFW.
The PS4 version of HFW has no specific enhancements when played on a PS5 console - hence the PS5 version.
If the game was dynamic res you’d hit the max res more often and if it dropped frames on PS4 you’d hit target framerate more often on a PS5 due to the extra horse power - but HZD was really well optimized on PS4 and looked great so I don’t see that being the case.
