So Xbox One can now play Xbox Series games... that's kinda interesting.
They probably only kept the PS version because of the original Kickstarter / contractual agreements - hence no PS5 version.
I bet MS would have loved to make a hyped / long awaited game like this exclusive.
Still, the good news is that people who played PN1 on PS2 and still play PS can still experience the sequel.

Yep - the more people who get to experience PN the better - and more sales/subs is great for DF and MS.
We might even get a PN3 and a Brutal Legend sequel if we’re lucky.
@Christopher I’m definitely not in the “a game must have awesome graphics to be fun” camp. Heck I just replayed Psychonauts 1 recently.
But I do plan on playing this game at high framerate on my PC, which does matter to me on a platformer.
But each to their own.
@CaptainHenry916 It will work, but you’ll be playing a last gen game via back compat - not a next gen version.
Reviews for the game are looking great - recently replayed the first and I'm super stoked to play this tomorrow.
Also where does he think the $60 goes if you buy it on PS4?

It's PS4 only so probably want to go with PC (with a controller...)
Support the dev though, DF are a great studio - hopefully this game being received well means we'll get a Psychonauts 3 + Brutal Legend sequel.

Only if the developer chooses to implement it and only at fixed points in the game. Quick resume can go direct into any point of the game - except multiplayer. It also requires no work by the developer.

I already own it on console and Steam but I still grabbed the Epic store freebie - because why not?
My third is probably Ratchet.
I don’t think Flight Sim would even be in my top 5 to be honest - it’s a pretty game to look at but I don’t really have the patience or excitement for simulators.
Glad they chose not to delay - I am pumped to play this later this year. This and Psychonauts will likely be my two GOTY.
He’s not wrong - this game is a pretty fun and unique experience. Highly recommend checking it out.
SMMM is only about 7 hours unless you’re going for completionist / 100%.
