D3, with all its always online & server drama, still became the fastest selling PC game, selling 3.5m in 24 hours. It also hit 30m in 3 years.
FF sells quick, but not that quick. D4 could very much lure players away from it, especially if someone doesn't have cash for both.
That being said, I wouldn't be surprised if D4 gets another delay.

The one you're thinking of was the remake by Activision that came to Wii and later PS3/360 but was basically a completely different game.
A coupon that only applies to Forspoken. Doesn't work on any other game released this week.

@shinoff Yep, both sides were trying to claim the game being on GP as some victory. This game wouldn't exist without gamepass, or it is cartoony because of GamePass. When in reality, it's a good game, regardless of GP.

Does it really matter if it was 'made for it' or not? At the end of the day, it's a well received, high scoring, good game, that is on it, whether it was made for it or not 🤷

Also, there's no way that rumor is true. They aren't going to shadow drop a PS5 Pro, plus you can't really shadow drop physical items anyway. We're already in February basically, if this was coming out in April they would already be churning out units in mass and beginning to signal intent to ship these items stores - and the leaks would be everywhere....
Hopefully that is placeholder art… otherwise Sony are going in a very weird direction for their live service game adaptations of their known IPs - and not a good one.
