I don’t recall it being that awesome… tens of millions of users had their personal info exposed… Sony took ages to even inform us, then took PSN down for nearly a month and then game us a bunch of old games.
If the rumors of PS Game Pass are true, that will be one of the best things Sony can do for indie developers.
But really, it seems like support for indie devs keeps flip flopping generation to generation, from both MS and Sony, one minute they're all in, then they're out, and then all in again once they get criticized for leaving the devs behind.
Isn’t there a way to just delete saves locally and from the cloud? I know on PC you can, not sure about Xbox consoles though.

The previews seem highly positive which makes the decision even weirder, but then again we’ve seen other games with tight embargo dates turn out fine (Returnal comes to mind).
I guess ‘far ahead of time’ review scores matter less with game pass too since the cost to try it out for yourself is basically just time/bandwidth to install it.
This is a good month, and it's good to see them adding games suitable for kids too.
My only question though is, where are the reviews for The Gunk? It's out on the 16th and it looks like the review embargo is at/after launch...
Remove GTA5 since you could play it on PS3 anyway and add in Death Stranding.
They already have the PS5 root keys, so the days until a full jailbreak are likely few.

+1. That would be awesome. Give color tinting options too for a proper throwback.
There's a few caveats there worth noting:
- dbrand ones trim the faceplate size down to look better/remove the huge overhang
- They also add texture to the middle part of the console (where power/eject etc are)
- They also have customizable light strips on each side
- If you aren't interested in re-texturing the middle part, then the price is cheaper, making it $59 (dbrand) vs $55 (official).
so $4 or $15 gets you quite ...
Finally, now they need to start selling a black model at retail.
It now makes sense why they were so aggressively shutting down dbrand :p
I’ve preordered a black one, $55 seems steep for a non-custom case but the white looks bad in my TV stand - so I’ll bite.
I’m interested to see custom faceplates though, presumably this means special editions will be coming for first party games like Spider-Man etc.

Yeah - and I’m on a worse GPU than 3090. The only issue I’ve had so far was twice it seemed to freeze the entire game for like 30-60 seconds.
Seemed to be when getting near some of the larger buildings like the mining ones early-ish on.

This seems like it’ll be one of these patents a company sits on and doesn’t execute. There’s too many games with similar functionality already out there.
Part of me hopes DS2 is still many years out / not even started development yet… because I hope Kojima is too busy working on an MGS remake and SH reboot.
I finally got some time to sit down and play this properly this weekend, and it’s a blast. The start is slow but once you get out into the open world, it’s immense fun!
The game also looks stunning at 4K with high refresh rate.
