I loved when they poked fun at that in MGS4 during Shadow Moses :p
@Eidolon Have to wait and see the PSN download size to determine if that is true or not. But PS5 disks are far larger than PS4 disks - that we know.
PS5 supports XL Blu-rays, they cost a bit more but for Sony it's nothing, so I bet they're using it.
PS4 only supports dual layer Blu-rays which are 50GB.
Good point, I forgot you can still get unlocks with the primary console setup.
And great point on the DLC. This just seems like a lot of work, with a lot of downsides, for the sake of waiting a day or so. We've already waited years, plus through delays etc, a few more days is nothing.
Seems a bit desperate for the sake of a few days. Remember that game will permanently be on your NZ account and you won't get trophies on your primary account either.
That too. Wouldn’t be cool if you could pick one in the options (or disable it for those who don’t want the additional wait).
They could even support the dynamic part of the PS2 intro with the number of games played etc.
@Sully All movies must star Tom Holland now. It’s basically a law.
Not sure I’d agree with that statement when Nintendo games typically review substantially higher than the other big two.
They make different types of games though, but both Sony and Nintendo 1st party games are great.
Or they could have both?
Really, PS5 needs game pass and Xbox Series needs DualSense.
Agreed. The sooner Xbox has something equivalent to DS, the sooner we’ll see proper adoption, better implementations across the board and ultimately, the features becoming an industry standard.
I wasnt making a statement about their games - I was referring to the “Seal of Quality” they stamped on N64 games :p
Logo is cool. I’d like to see a PS1/2 style boot up intro on my PS5 that can be disabled via options.
On a side note though, it looks like the UC movie is poor. I’ll still be going to see it though with the free ticket.
Nintendo beat them to it :p
@curtain_swoosh Try again now, the URL is fixed.
@SullysCigar If it's a big enough website to get pre-release first party games from Sony & appear on Metacritic - then it's a valid source for reviews on N4G.
This game just seems like a huge mess, and there appears to be zero effort by the developer and Microsoft to actually resolve the most basic things like giving game pass users access as promised...
@MrDead The article was readable at the time of approval. It was not approved based on a score or anything else.
Approvers like Raiden and Maximus always check everything thoroughly.
The URL has now been corrected.
It’s on top news because people keep commenting on it. More comments = more heat.
“Sites or blogs with zero impact on gaming”
You should take that one up with Sony - Sony believes this website is important enough that they deserve pre-release access to the game and a free copy.
Not sure what you’re talking about.
I submitted 14 Horizon reviews, all of which were from metacritic approved sources, and the majority of which were 9/10 or 10/10.
For those trying to access the site: It looks like the translation link expired/the root source URL changed since it was active at the time of approval.
I’ve submitted a ticket to correct it, in the meantime, you can read the review here:

I somehow missed this update was coming despite being a huge Hitman fan... great news!
