It's being added to peoples lists randomly.
Hoping it happens for me. Itching to play through it again on my new account.
It's got the formula to be a system seller for people.
Intense Action
Familiar faces(Hollywood Actors)
Positioned with maximum attention
@Chubby
Who thinks KI is better for casuals? Learning how to Combo break for each of the 2 seasons worth of characters is hard enough. Then you got to learn how to counter break properly.
KI isn't very "Casual Friendly", especially considering the fact that without Combos you can't do any real damage. Trying to spam throws in KI usually gives your opponent an easy win.
TICGN has been keeping up to date with the weekly "Top Selling" on Xbox Game Store.
And last week RoTR was #2 behind Minecraft...The week before that it was #3 behind Gears UE/Minecraft.
That's not including GWG or Game preview games.
The top selling page is the only way to gauge digital sales.
But ROTR is selling extremely well Digitally throughout the holidays and even now. So NPD isn't the sole source companies measure sales.
Young Conker being a prequel game would be pretty awesome since Conker ended up being king and it gives them more freedom since Conkers youth is unknown.
Fragments has me puzzled though.
Nintendo is making money off their lets plays... But it resulted in multiple youtube channels boycotting any nintendo games.
And Sony would have to fight Roosterteeth in court since they own the channel "Lets Play".
Edit
That does answer your question... It's a short term money surge that results in destroying PR with major sources of advertisement via Youtubers.
Doesn't stop them for the PS4 but imagine PS5 when they're...
You do realize the "Greatest games line-up in Xbox History" was referring to their LINEUP of games, not just last years games.
The game montages MS does are brilliant. For advertising, and the press events.
Yeah not like they would've pulled a Nintendo moment and shot themselves in the foot when it comes to all the free advertising they get from "Lets Play" videos and youtube channels who showcase their games to millions.
Take the fanboy goggles off and see the greed.
You keep referring to Defiance but totally ignore the fact that the show of Defiance was solid(RIP Defiance).
Universal/Syfy handled the show
Trion handled the game
Remedy handles BOTH the show and game.
And you're complaining because they brought on talented actors to the show/game?
Actors that played major roles in...Game of Thrones/X-men/LOST/Fringe/TDKR /Prison Break/The Wire/Etc...
I think sticking to the "tiny steps" like upgradeable time powers as he said is probably the best plan since Remedy does an amazing job with action and intense story telling.
They do an amazing job at molding linear games. And should stick to that rather than messing with the formula that they've nailed.
You do realize it was already confirmed back in an interview with Gameinformer that Sam Lake said they came to MS with a pitch for Alan Wake 2 and they were on board but wanted to do a game that could work with their TV plan. Which is where Quantum Break was born.
But then again you're Foxtrot... spam people with a wall of text of BS and pretend it's factual.
While I do agree the writing from David Cage games is laughable(To each their own). After playing Indigo Prohecy, Heavy Rain, Beyond: Two Souls...
But I'm confused, how does that relate to this? Until Dawn was solid and something that Sam Lake would enjoy a lot.
Ahh yes I remember staring at the gif for like an hour going "My god this is going to be Epic"...
Almost there!
If the Director of the game had his way? Are you high?
The reason he changed the formula for Nuts & Bolts was because he wanted to shake things up a bit. It was a brilliant game, just not what the Banjo fanbase wanted.
And Gregg is more than enough since he plays a big part in the creation of Rares games now.
The reason for the decision is quite obvious. Much like most stream lined online games it allows them to create a growing experience that is attached to a 5-10 year dev plan.
Much more content then any other Fable would have and a growing experience. Especially since most F2P games aren't this gorgeous it stands out amongst the crowd.
If you can't see why Legends is a solid experience with some pretty high replay value then you're part of the pro...
@FlipSwitch
Proper budget?
It's not like it's been called Rares most ambitious title and we haven't even seen the scope of it.
And I haven't seen anything from Rare stating it's F2P, basing stuff off job listings when the game is still months away from launch is just short sighted.
@Thrash
The fans of Rare are looking forward to both Sea of Thieves and Yooka-Laylee. I backed that game and can't wait to get my copy of it....
I find that funny since they did a good job with the Origins PC port... least I didn't have any problems with it.
Good to hear they plan on wrapping up Jacks storyline rather than leave us wondering like Alan Wake.
Still leaves room for sequels but doesn't have us all dying to know what happens next.
