Well Remedy is still independent but they've got a relationship with MS where they pitch game ideas to them first before going to any other publisher.
This would've been more of them peaking behind the curtains and exchanging tips/tricks.
Otherwise I'd think they'd be visiting publishers.
He's got a few movies and his own TV series in development so maybe he couldn't come into Iron Galaxy Studios.
I'm hoping Horizon 3 is actually happening. Playground games did an amazing job on the Horizon games and they really showed they had what it takes with Horizon 2.
Horizon 1 = Colorado
Horizon 2 = Southern France/Northern Italy
i'd love to see where the Horizon festival is set up next. And I'd expect the game to be X1/W10. Plenty of driveatars and it could up it's sales while not holding the game back like Horizon 2 where they had to us...
Pretty sure Iron Galaxy is handling the PC version and as we can tell they're apparently better at optimization for console then PC. (Just looking at Arkham knight)
Hoping they've learned from their mistakes.
I'd say for many gamers waiting for prices to go down in year 2/3 is probably the better option. Especially with more support and when more cost efficient parts are brought in.
But PS VR probably isn't going to be that much cheaper. Sony can't sell it at a loss and make up for it in software model like PS+/PSNow. But Sony will have to sell it at a heavy loss if they want to get the console demographic to adopt it.
There are multiple possibilities based on the choices in game that effect the cutscenes so I could see it being 5-7 hours long based on the fact that the baseline length of each episode is 22 minutes and there are apparently storylines that eliminate certain characters.
You must've missed the fact that each of the Gears last gen were the best showcasing of UE3 versions at there time.
And Epic has stated that Gears 4 and moving forward would be the same since they will work closely with BTS(Now Coalition) to make Gears continue to be the game Epic points to as an example of Top quality UE4.
Rod is trying to make the best possible version of Gears of War.
If there are talks of a W10 version then they'll be going through the MP team first and seeing at the amount of time Gears UE W10 is taking... I wouldn't worry or expect it anytime soon.
Plenty of time to download it if you've got low internet speeds.
Course 44 GB is big, but I bet it'll be totally worth it :D.
They sent out American Nightmare codes via your Messages.
Sadly Gigantic is currently looking for investors to allow them to move forward.
Here's hoping MS steps in and lends a legit hand.
Then I'm going to be buying Bloodborne. Because that's what I want!
Ryse and DR3 were handled by Crytek/Capcom at that point.
And Ori was before they launched W10.
Ori Definitive Edition will be coming to W10. I haven't heard anything about the Definitive edition hitting Steam.
The writer doesn't understand how it works at all.
"This all no doubt makes sense from Microsoft’s perspective (they have a new service, they want push everybody into using it), but it’s not great for all of us, nor, I’d suggest for Remedy themselves."
Remedy has stated that MS handles distribution. Not them. The game has gone gold most of their work has been done. Now MS is in charge of marketing and selling.
The writer is the kind that...
Yep especially since Steam takes like a 30% cut (Which is a standard cut).
I want this game to be a massive success and the more revenue the better. Also means MS further invests into Alan Wake 2 and possible QB 2 in the future.
If you buy a Digital version on X1 you get a free W10 copy.
I haven't heard anything like that. I do know the preview builds issues with screen tearing and jacket physics was fixed already.
Cheers Sam Lake. Looking forward to April.
The one thing I've always wanted the Souls series to address. Proper Co-op
If FromSoftware had to they could just up the difficulty but I just want to be able to join my buddies world and not only kill each other OVER AND OVER again but also kill some bosses. And making it more persistent rather than one of us gaining all progress.
I doubt they'll ever do it but I'd be willing to take a massive increase in difficulty of bosses if it meant I could ...
To be fair anything's possible.
But you need to ask yourself this, why would they go to Sony if Alan Wake 2 was the next game they were doing. Alan Wake wasn't on Playstation.
Unless you think they're going to do an Alan Wake Remaster as well, which knowing Remedy would just set them back 6 months(They'd get the most out of it)
