I'm keeping mine. I put 2 grand into my rig and am fine with being able to buy one version and get BOTH. Sometimes I'm in a skype call with friends or playing MOBAs/MMOs and am craving some other games I don't get on my PC.

CPU plays a big factor in MMOs since most are CPU bound.
But your GPU is what will make the difference. CPUs aren't that expensive... GPUs are.

Remedy are perfectionists... They don't half ass things.

Alan Wake 2 is a definite 5-6 year dev time.

They'll take all the time they need and despite having a playable demo doesn't mean they won't start from 0.

They'll probably use the same world builder as AW with a few edits. But if anyone thinks Remedy will rush Alan Wake 2 you're surely mistaken.

Yep I loved replaying Fable Anniversary.

The anniversary treatment is how remasters should be done.

They did say they didn't want to mess with the code. And AI would be a big mess around.
Got to have that Authentic Co-op feel of "Oh my god the AI is going to get us killed" when you're doing Insane run with your buddy.(The parts you split up)

They did mess around with balancing in MP though but that's an entity in it's own right.

We all know Alan Wake 2 probably won't hit the X1.
Next gen in the next 5-6 years.

I prefer the new Time stutter visuals tbh. Gives me more of an Alan Wake feel.

Anyone who's played that game knows those moments when the Taken surround you and it's super dark with no street light in sight.

Well given that Cobalt has released already and QB is the only confirmed game that's launching in Spring aside from indies.

I could see MS using this event to announce some PC games with X1 ports.

We may FINALLY get to see Decisives RTS.

This event is to showcase games hitting Spring and they wouldn't have an event if they only had Indies to show off.
But Fall games are probably off the table unless it's Halo Wars 2.

Well he did say they're using a Licensed song so that's a good step.

Look at Suicide Squad a movie based on a comic that the general public doesn't know anything about. And they used "Bohemian Rhapsody - Queen" in that trailer and it's gotten close to 38 million views in 3 weeks.

The right song being played on TV enough times could be a real smart play.

Aaron Greenberg was on a podcast with Major Nelson about QB. People are just releasing the bullet points. That and what he says on Twitter.

But for real this is like a next gen step of Max Payne and IDK about you but Max Payne was a masterpiece to me, and Alan Wake was definitely one.

I do hope they market it right on TV because I see QB having a lot of appeal to Action junkies.

It's smart to keep it away from Steam, and not waver when they complain. It happened with Uplay/Origin.

Then they cut out XBL Gold revenue... And they did confirm a steady rise in active gold users of 10 million more in a year.

Seriously why do people like you want them to exit the console game? So we get a monopoly? No thanks... Anyone with half a brain knows that if MS exited the console game, Nintendo wouldn't be a strong competitor for Sony given the gap between consoles.

But RAM is pretty affordable for anyone who can make those specs.
