I just want the Beta start date. Spring is almost here.
Halo Wars 2 will probably hit in August. I'm hoping Decisive announces their game this year. I need AoE/AoM in my life again.
Hows Windows 10 the death of Xbox as a console?
Increased install base means higher sales for Software. ELIMINATING Xbox hurts their bottom line a lot more.
They then cut out Xbox live subscriptions(Which you can't sell to PC gamers)
They cut out a large casual demographic
Most people purchase a console for the simplicity and affordability. A small percentage of PC users have Mid-High end GPUs.
You keep making that statement that this is th...
Given that Mike Ybarra is a pretty big PC gamer. I'd imagine he's going to work hard to free up the current limitations.
Given that Halo: Online is now over here in the West. I could see MS pushing to get that on W10/X1.
Halo Wars 2 will be on W10/X1.
Top Down Halos always will.
BUT aslong as Gears/Halo DONT have Cross Play no one will have a problem with it. No way would Cross Play get past Alpha QA tbh.
It would be nice for this year to see something from one of the studios.
Life Experience Pioneers, Platform Next Studios, Good Science Studio, (FUN)ction Studios.
I feel Warzone Firefight is a testament to how it's done.
Not just adding Maps/Game Modes... But adding a whole new mode that brings full Co-Op PvE back to Halo.
I feel Greenskull put it best "This is the first Halo where we're constantly getting content and have something for people like me to play and show people!".
You do realize KZSF sold a Season Pass right? While this isn't expecting you to pay a dime. And Microtransactions are easy to grind in Halo 5.
It had quite a few maps at launch actually.
And Halo 5 is adding epic game modes with solid maps to support them. Warzone Firefight says "Sup".
Good, I've been waiting for it to hit Game Preview.
Great game and show. (Games still heavy in development but solid mechanics)
When I think of "Immature" indie dev I think of Phil Fish.
It's obviously going to be Alan Wake 2, then Remedy will be like Bethesda and spend 4-5 years making each game. Altering between Alan Wake and QB sequels like Elder Scrolls and Fallout.
Why specify digital? They get more hits this way.
All journalists are under NDA till March 1st.
So they can play all the games and then get their previews ready. That way it's not a rush to get details out. They can play them fully and give us actual info.
SO HAPPY that Warzone Firefight is actually happening.
IDC that I got to wait for the update just so happy that 343i is bringing back Firefight. I had almost lost hope... But it's happening!
That was for unveiling Windows 10.
THIS is to showcase all their games in the spring lineup and allow all the journalists to dump videos/articles on the same day after playing the games for a bit.
Given that MS has put an NDA on all articles until March 1st and that there's no livestream.
I wouldn't expect it.
But who knows maybe MS will give out a overview video of a few things like they always do.
Given how epic the Alan Wake audio was. I'm not surprised how much work they put into the audio for QB.
I love that the music is dynamic with the gameplay.
Last time a Bethesda published game was on a Nintendo console was on the Wii back in 2009.
Same goes for Rockstar.
So I don't think those two are the ones you want to headline that. I do agree they'd be concerned about people leaking things out. But given the heavy Indie support on the Wii U. It's odd they shut out a dev that just won a bunch of awards for their debut game. Especially since Ori proves Moon Studios could make some amazing Nintendo games.
Yes it's finally followed Gears model of being a solid PvP/PvE experience. IF Warzone Firefight is done right then I'll finally have something to play when I'm getting bad matches and want to cool off without getting off the game.
