ReCore is a good bet since it's Spring games and ReCore isn't specified for Fall yet.
SoT is probably a fall game so I expect E3/Gamescom are where there plans lie for that.
Time Stop is still in the game. You just get it half way through the game. The preview builds didn't have that or Time Blast because they hadn't gotten to that point.
No people like you were never buying an Xbox One so this gives you a chance to buy some games and give money to MS.
If MS left the console market behind their software sales would hit the ground. They know MOST of their profits come from Live/Games. And throwing away 40+ million subscribers yearly is suicide since you can't get people to pay for that subscription who own PC.
They would then sell off a lot of their gaming as many major publishers will tell...

Honestly I've been gaming on PC for a long time and yes there are a lot of ignorant PC gamers that won't touch something if it's not on Steam.
There are those who are "Anti-DRM".
If they keep their games on the Windows Store... They keep the profits and control sales.
You can't please everyone. MS will get hate from people if they don't bring it to Steam so there's no real way to win over PC gamers.
Well Phil did confirm that they plan to get K&M support up and running by Halo Wars 2 launch.
But we shouldn't have to all switch to K&M for shooters we love.
Aslong as we don't get to a future where Gears/Halo have Cross Play with Windows 10 it'll be alright.
K&M vs Controller simply doesn't work in a twitch shooter format.
But for everything else this is a must. Maximizing profits for games is essential to building franchises on all the seed IPs they're working on.

I think their current pace/plan is a good way to do it.
Releasing sequels and allowing you to get free versions of the previous iterations with the purchase of the game.

That gameplay was hard to watch. Then again it's Gamespot and they usually don't have any decent gamers playing these games.
I'm pre ordering Digitally. Get Alan Wake(Already owned)+ DLC and American Nightmare(Already owned)... But it gives a lot for people to play.
Alan Wake is easily my favorite game and this gives people a chance to play Remedys hits. While giving me two versions of the game.
Unless you've got a REAL beast gaming rig I don't think this should effect you.
But if this sets you off then I don't think you get the point of W10/X1 future. It's about bringing down walls for games that can.
It's about increasing sales potential of these types of games. I want more franchises, hell I want Scalebound to be a franchise. And it needs to sell extremely well to become that.
