Can't wait for RE2
Rockstar really forces you to play missions the way they want you to, and it has a lot of annoying things like "places dynamite on the x" where you just slowly walk to each objective and do it exactly as they want.
Quantum Break was far from perfect but I didn't regret buying it day one. I have a fair amount of single player games on Xbox One but admittedly most if not all of them are on other platforms.
The Yakuza series is basically nothing but betrayals lol
I doubt it, Xbox One's library has been pretty forgettable.
It would kind of be a fun gimmick if they added it as an option but auto aim would need to be implemented. I think the way it plays now is fine and I love old RE.
Unlikely, if PS5 plays PS4 games it will be very difficult to attract the 100m+ PS4 owners to the new Xbox.
That would be an interesting development but not that hard to believe.
Did it really just now release on Windows store? It hit steam in 2018.
Capitalism
I'm skeptical, if you check trophy and achievement stats in many multiplatform games PS4 owners seem to finish them at a higher rate.
Runs and looks worst on regular Xbox One, runs and looks the best on Xbox One X if you're exclusively talking about consoles. I played it on PS4 Pro and PC using a 1080Ti and I'm gonna get the PC version I think. It was fine on the Pro and honestly ran better than I expected but it just can't match true native 4K that the PC version offers.
I got the Spider-Man version and it's okay overall, the level of improvement really depends on the game.
Due to placebo, the 4K implementation in RDR2 on the PS4 Pro is awful and looks worse than the 1080p mode because the entire image is blurred significantly. TAA doesn't work right with their reconstruction solution, Pro owners are better just playing the game in 1080p for better image quality and performance.
The only real advantage in RDR2 is performance, the "4K" mode is screwed up and looks worse than the Pro's 1080p mode.
HDR is fucked up in all versions unfortunately
I've played the PS4 version and it actually has some visual bugs that are never getting patched, including a really obvious one at the beginning of the game in Gaia's heart.
The demo apparently runs worse under DirectX 12 than DirectX 11 so users facing performance issues should switch over.
It runs at 60fps on the premium consoles, I tested it on PS4 Pro and PC.
It is a joke, Rockstar will win.
